| The large explosion spread throughout the entire throne room of Aqudor�s palace. It hit all 4 of the Axems present, and did varying amounts of damage to each, because of their elemental differences. They were all knocked to the ground. The explosion was the result of 2 Water Orbs, one Ice Orb, and a Flame Orb. Axem Ice took 100 damage, since he was resistant to both ice and water. Axem Great Water took 90 because he was resistant to both fire and water. Axem H�0 took 80 because he was strong against fire and water, and because of his slightly higher defense. Axem Inferno took 175 damage, being weak to water, which was half of the blast. AXEM INFERNO 325/500 AXEM ICE 400/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 400/490 AXEM H�0 420/500 The four Axems stood up. Ice and Great Water were the fastest, followed by H�0, and then Inferno. Ice fired an Ice Orb at Great Water. Great Water surrounded his body with water. The Ice orb hit and did 100 damage (less than usual because of the water around Great Water). Great Water regained 40 HP due to the water around him. They did this before the other two Axems were ready to continue fighting. AXEM INFERNO: I know just the thing for you two! Blue Flame! Axem Inferno started charging up Blue Flame. AXEM ICE (thinking): I need to try to keep them occupied, while Inferno does whatever he�s doing. NOTE: Great Water saw Blue Flame in the last battle, but neither Ice nor H�0 know what it is. AXEM H�0: Hey genius? We are water Axems. Boy, you�re dumb. AXEM GREAT WATER: Um�sir? Blue Flame lets him do quite a bit of damage to water types. AXEM H�0: What? That�s not fair! AXEM ICE: Gonna cry? Axem Great Water glared at Axem Ice, since he said the same thing to him, right before KO�ing him. Great Water tackled Axem H�0 to the ground. H�0 lost 25 HP, but the Ice Orb that Axem Ice had fired at him missed. H�0 and Great Water quickly jumped to their feet, and Great Water healed 40 HP. AXEM GREAT WATER: He did the same thing to me before. We should try to KO Inferno before Blue Flame finishes charging. AXEM INFERNO: Too late! A flash of blue surrounded Inferno for a second, leaving him tinted blue. At the same time H�0 shot off a Water Stream while Great Water did a diving slice at Ice. Ice punched Great Water in the face, and he lost 75 HP. Great Water regained 40 HP. The water disappeared. Inferno used Flaming Wall. He commanded it to form into a cyclone around him. This protected him from the Water Stream, since Blue Flame was in effect. When the Water Stream hit the Flaming Wall, it was blocked at first. After a few seconds, however, it broke through. Only the end hit Axem Inferno, so he only lost 50 HP. ELAPSE PLACE: On the streets outside in Aquador: PAGE: Everyone! Wake up! I just heard King H�0 say that he supports Smithy! EVERYONE! GET UP! NOTE: This is the page that ran out of the throne room in Episode 8. A few lights flicked on. The Page continued yelling. A Koopa stuck his head out of his door. KOOPA: What are you yelling about Toad? King H�0 is a good, just ruler. He doesn�t support Smithy. PAGE: Yes he does. I just saw him about to attack Axems Ice and Inferno, because they were going to tell people that Smithy really was defeated. KOOPA: What??? How do they know that? PAGE: Inferno came from Ea� The page fell to the ground KO�d. The Koopa looked down the street and saw a group of soldiers in armor. One of them was swinging a sling. He saw the Koopa in the doorway. SOLDIER: Get him! We can�t let him spread the word. The Koopa slammed the door shut as dozens of stones hit his it. He ran upstairs and started yelling out the window. ELAPSE PLACE: Back in the throne room: Axem Inferno used Combust, and he regained 70 HP. AXEM INFERNO 345/500 AXEM ICE 400/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 345/490 AXEM H�0 395/500 Axems Ice and Inferno both shot off Orbs of their own respective elements. The two targets dodged, batted away, and destroyed several of the Orbs. Two of the Ice Orbs hit H�0 and one Fireball hit Great Water. H�0 lost 240 HP and Great Water lost 75 HP. AXEM ICE: Haha! You�re HP is getting way low! Axem H�0 grunted and fired a few Water Spheres at Ice and Inferno. Since Inferno was slow, he couldn�t get out of the way. Ice jumped in front on him and took three Spheres to the chest. Inferno didn�t take any damage, and Ice lost only 100 HP. While they were distracted, Axem H�0 shot a Water Stream at Great Water, who responded with a few Water Orbs. Both regained 125 HP. AXEM ICE: This could be a little harder than I thought� ELAPSE PLACE: On the streets of Aquador: Two forces faced each other. One was the group of armored soldiers. The other consisted of Koopas, Goombas, humans, and even one Axem. Some were still in their nightgowns. The Axem stood at their head. AXEM RAIN: Come on folks, we must defend our city and world from this menace. He wants to support Smithy, and he attacked some guests who came in peace. Now he turns on his own people! FREEDOM TO AQUADOR!!! The rebels charged down the street at Axem H�0�s soldiers and started to battle. ELAPSE PLACE: Back in the throne room: AXEM INFERNO 345/500 AXEM ICE 300/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 395/490 AXEM H�0 270/500 AXEM INFERNO: If we take out one of them, they won�t be able to heal. AXEM GREAT WATER: I will! AXEM INFERNO: Well, not very well. Wait a second�you can�t use that more than once, can you? AXEM GREAT WATER: Uh�Take this! Axem Great Water tried to use Axe Helicopter on Inferno. He started spinning around incredibly fast, with his axe above his head. It worked like a helicopter�s blades and lifted him off the ground. He flew forward at Inferno, with his axe extended. Inferno hit him with some flames from his mouth. This Fire Breath was tinted blue, and therefore did 145 damage. Inferno was hit by the Axe Helicopter and lost 100 HP. Great Water and Inferno clashed axes, but neither was hit. While they were doing that, H�0 and Ice tried to hit each other with some Orbs, to no success. H�0 noticed how much damage Inferno was inflicting with Blue Flame. AXEM H�0: You are too dangerous with Blue Flame, we must get rid of you. He powered up a very powerful Water Stream and was about to shoot it at Inferno. Ice shot an Ice Orb at H�0. It hit him right before he fired the water at Inferno, so he missed. He also lost 120 HP. The stream hit a pillar of the throne room, and it tore off a large piece of the stone. The pillar slowly started to lean down, right towards Inferno and Great Water. AXEM ICE: Look out! Both Inferno and Great Water glanced up at the pillar coming down on top of them. There wasn�t enough time to avoid it. Inferno�s body burst into flames, and he was made of pure fire. His maximum HP dropped by 50. He had used Blazer. Axem Great Water did a similar technique, but with water instead of fire. The pillar crashed down onto the two of them, and did no damage. Both were made of their element, and took no damage from physical attacks. The two of them stepped out of the pillar. H�0 suddenly started to grow very large. When his head was almost touching the ceiling, he turned into a tower of water. The water rushed down to the floor and spread throughout the entire throne room. Just before he was hit, Inferno hit Great Water with a Fireball and dealt 75 damage. When the water hit Inferno, he lost all his HP. Great Water regained 30 HP and Axem Ice lost only 20. After a moment, H�0�s body regained form. The water flooding the room was gone. Axem H�0 had lost 100 from using this technique, but he also lost an extra 75 because of Ice�s cold body. H�0 and Inferno both slumped to the floor, KO�d. Great Water hit Axem H�0�s body with a Water Orb, making him regain 50 HP. He stood back up and grinned. AXEM INFERNO 0/500 KO�d AXEM ICE 280/500 AXEM GREAT WATER 205/490 AXEM H�0 50/500 Ice looked down at Inferno�s body, which had turned back to flesh. AXEM H�0: Gonna cry? End of Episode 9 |
