| Inferno studied the Axem who was in front of him. It wasn�t any Axem that Inferno had ever seen before, but he knew all of the Axems, or at least all of the Axems on Earth. The Axem was transparent blue and was a male. He seemed to be emitting the cold, and Inferno thought he fit right in with the environment of the planet he was on, if he was still there. He seemed to have a look of mischief on his face, like he enjoyed practical jokes or making fun of people. The room Inferno was in seemed to be the only room in the house. He could see a kitchen area, the bedroom area he was in, and a living room like area. There was no fireplace or heaters than Inferno could see. The room was quite chilly. MYSTERIOUS AXEM: So are you going to tell me your name, or not? AXEM INFERNO: I�m Axem Inferno. What�s your name? MYSTERIOUS AXEM: I�m Axem Ice. So, what were you doing near the Arch, KO�d? Axem Ice stood up and got out an Ultra Shroom while Inferno answered. AXEM INFERNO: I traveled through the Arch from Earth. I was battling with an Icion and it beat me with some sort of blue shield. Ice gave him the Ultra Shroom. AXEM INFERNO 500/500 AXEM ICE: Oh that is a powerful move�Next time you battle one you should KO it as quickly as possible, once it gets under 200 HP, or it can do that technique, Blue Blast. AXEM INFERNO: Yes, well, thanks for the tip. No offense, but where did you come from? I know all of the Axems Smithy created. AXEM ICE: I highly doubt that. You see, Smithy didn�t just create those Axems that he attacked Earth with. He created hundreds, if not thousands, of Axems. AXEM INFERNO: What??? AXEM ICE: When Smithy was taking over the Mushroom Kingdom, he was also attacking other places. Other planets. There are hundreds of planets with Arches, and Smithy tried to take over every single one at once. He sent at least 5 Axems to every planet where there might be some resistance. AXEM INFERNO: So there are Axems all over the place? AXEM ICE: Yes, spread all throughout the galaxy. AXEM INFERNO: Whoa. And this whole time we thought there were only the dozen or so Axems on Earth. AXEM ICE: That�s because the Arch on Earth wasn�t under use. AXEM INFERNO: How did you know that? AXEM ICE: A few of Smithy�s higher subjects knew Earth�s address. Luckily they were all good. Some of these Axems tried to travel to Earth, to meet the Axems from there, but the Arch wouldn�t work. We knew that that could only mean the Arch hadn�t been activated by anyone on your world. Smithy must have been worried that somebody from your world would travel to the other ones and stop his invasion. AXEM INFERNO: Mario. AXEM ICE: Who? AXEM INFERNO: A human who defeated Smithy. AXEM ICE: A human??? AXEM INFERNO: Yes, he is the greatest warrior on Earth, excluding Axems, of course. Even including Axems, he still might be. AXEM ICE: Seriously? AXEM INFERNO: Yes, he defeated all 5 of Smithy�s Axems, by himself. AXEM ICE: Amazing. We never knew what led to Smithy�s downfall, except that it occurred on Earth. Smithy must have seen Earth as one of his largest threats, to send a dozen Axems there. Only a handful of planets got that much force. You must tell this to the Axems of Aquador, they would love to hear it. Well, at least some would. The library of Aquador contains the most knowledge in the known galaxy. AXEM INFERNO: This isn�t Aquador? AXEM ICE: No! Is that where you thought you were going? Axem Inferno�s cheeks lit on fire. It is his way of showing embarrassment. AXEM INFERNO: Well�um�yes. AXEM ICE: Boy, are you lucky. You do know that a wrong address usually means death, don�t you? AXEM INFERNO: Yes. AXEM ICE: Than why didn�t you wait until you were positive you had the right address? AXEM INFERNO: I was trapped in the Chamber with the Arch by some lasers. AXEM ICE: Ah, those Amiryalans sure were tricky. You should defiantly go to Aquador now, they should be able to help you with the lasers. You need to the King�s help. AXEM INFERNO: Amiryalans? AXEM ICE: The aliens who created the Arches, they�re also called the Forgotten. AXEM INFERNO: So they really weren�t any known race? AXEM ICE: No. Unfortunately they were all killed 5000 years ago by a demon named Yomano. He slaughtered them all, if not for the greed of one of his brothers he would have killed many more innocent races. Luckily, the two demons fought each other to the death and both were killed. When Smithy was planning his attack on this galaxy, he discovered the ruins of Aquador. There was information on all the planets that have an Arch. He then decided that he wanted his empire to consist of those planets. That way he could transport his armies of Axem to wherever he needed them. AXEM INFERNO: I was wondering how you all knew that Smithy was defeated. Inferno didn�t really ask, but his voice made it clear he wanted an answer. AXEM ICE: Well, we didn�t exactly know�but it was the most obvious cause for the things that happened. AXEM INFERNO: What things? AXEM ICE: For one thing, we suddenly felt free. For another thing, he never came to give us anymore commands. And for a third thing, he was planning on bringing another 10 Axems to protect him because he �had a slight problem�. AXEM INFERNO: So you all got your free will as well? AXEM ICE: Yes, unfortunately some didn�t change, even though they could. AXEM INFERNO: So there are evil Axems out there as well? AXEM ICE: Yes, many more than you�d expect. AXEM INFERNO: I would doubt that, about 25% of the Axems on Earth stayed evil. AXEM ICE: That�s all? There�s about half of them out here. Axem Inferno�s eyes went wide. His voice was full of disbelief. AXEM INFERNO: Half of the Axems are evil? Axem Ice nodded. AXEM ICE: Yes, come on, let�s get you to Aquador. I do want to warn you though, I�ve heard rumors that some on Aquador are still loyal to Smithy, and do not want to admit he was defeated. End of Episode 4 |
