| AXEM OVER FLAME: How many planets do they have? AXEM RAIN: Our best estimate is about a dozen. AXEM OVER FLAME: Estimate? AXEM RAIN: It means- AXEM OVER FLAME: I know what it means I meant: You dont know? AXEM RAIN: Not exactly AXEM INFERNO: Well, t- Suddenly the bars seemed to dull. It appeared that the power had been cut off and the bars were not electrified anymore. Over Flame poked the bar. He immediately twitched and his arm convulsed away from the bar. AXEM OVER FLAME: Oww JK CRIMSON: Hmm It appeared to be off. AXEM OVER FLAME: Thats ok My finger appears to have gone numb. Tarn came running back from his wire havoc. TARN: Okay, its done. AXEM OVER FLAME: But it shocked me TARN: Really? Thats weirdMust have been a little left over juice. Over Flame rolled his eyes. Rain cleared his throat. AXEM RAIN: Oh sorry AXEM INFERNO: Oh yeah You can just walk out now, you know, that dont you? He just walked through the bars. NOTE: Rain is made up of water. Without the power on, nothing stops him from getting away. JK CRIMSON: Lets goDo you want to stay here all day? They walked back to the secret passage. When he saw it, Rain shook his head. AXEM INFERNO: What? AXEM RAIN: That passage wont do TARN: Why not? AXEM RAIN: Its too close. We wont have much time. Theyll check to see if the power to the cells was cut off as well AXEM OVER FLAME: As well? AXEM RAIN: The palace is powered in sections TARN: Only the cells lost power AXEM RAIN: Okay, thatll give us a little more time. However, they will still check soon. I know some other passages. I want to check to see if we can get Blunder Illmental AXEM OVER FLAME: Nice one man! He tried to high five Rain. Luckily for him, Rain wasnt familiar with the custom. Crimson looked annoyed. JK CRIMSON: In that case, lead on. Rain led them down the hall about 50 feet. He then showed them a secret passage. This winded its way up to the ground floor. NOTE: The cells are underground. They walked down a hallway, turned a corner, and ducked behind a tapestry. At the end of the passage they continued the journey, using as many secret passages as possible. After a moment, they got to a hall (not the long kind, the Great Hall kind) that was right in front of the throne room. Rain informed them that no passages led directly in there, or to the kings quarters. AXEM INFERNO: Koopas, dont engage unless I signal. We might just come back. There was a large quantity of Koopas near the door. As they tried to sidle up to the door, they noticed that they all had Kipels, and that there was some automatic defenses as well. AXEM OVER FLAME (whispering): Well never get close enough. Lets retreat and come back with more troops. JK CRIMSON (under his breath): Coward They took a passage that led directly to the wall around the palace. They slipped through the quiet streets of Aquador. The darkness helped cloak them from sight. NOTE: If you forgot, it has been night since the flashback ended. They crossed the bridge and were on the island where the ruins were located. A twig snapped and some plants rustled. AXEM RAIN: Get down. Everyone hid and in a few minutes a lone Koopa walked by. JK Crimson KOd him with a powerful beam of fire, which was produced by his trusty lighter. AXEM INFERNO: Commander, what was that for? He would have just walked by. Now hell know somethings up when he awakes. JK CRIMSON: Then we dont let him wake up. AXEM RAIN: We cant kill him JK CRIMSON: What? They just imprisoned your whole planet! AXEM RAIN: It wasnt his decision. Besides, I dont want to go down to their level. JK CRIMSON: Okay, well just bring him through AXEM OVER FLAME: Cant Carrying him could slow us down too much. Well just have to leave him here. They walked to the Arch. It was unguarded at the moment. NOTE: The Iondrossers have no permanent guard on it, but it is patrolled. They dialed Pyrodor, and went through. Luckily for them, they left the Koopa there. If they hadnt they could very well have been captured. Moments after the Arch powered down, a patrol walked by it. The alarm also went off in the distant city, so the patrol stopped to guard the Arch. On Pyrodor, Rain had them dial up planet Bob. AXEM RAIN: Strifell get it. He can handle it End of Episode 30 |
