The Forgotten
Episode Three
Goombario and Kolorado looked at the dying ripples on the Arch. The Arch doors started to close, and the symbols returned to their normal positions. The doors slammed shut with a chilling thud.

GOOMBARIO: Good luck, Inferno.

ELAPSE PLACE:

The darkness and emptiness of space made for a very lonely scene. There was nothing within a few million miles, and that was just to a few frozen asteroids. Suddenly a light appeared, floating in the absolute nothingness of space.

From the light, a dull hum was being emitted. A flash of green light came from the light, and the hum stopped. A figure appeared in the light, his flame being immediately put out in the oxygen-less expanse of space. Another victim of using a wrong address in the Arches of Aquador.

ELAPSE PLACE:

GOOMBARIO: Do you think hes hurt? Hes been gone for a while, shouldnt he have come back through to tell us it worked?

KOLORADO: Maybe, but he could be enjoying himself on whatever the lovely planet he got to was called.

How wrong he was

ELAPSE PLACE:

The cold wind blew around the cold expanses, swirling snow. All there was to be seen in any direction was snow, snow, and some more snow. There appeared to be no life in this frozen wasteland, appeared being the keyword. Just then two pairs of eyes appeared over a snow bank, looking at the one feature in this forsaken place: the ruins.

The ruins were magnificently built, even though they had been worn down by millennia of snow, wind, and ice. They seemed to almost produce heat, counteracting the extremely cold environment. The most awe-striking feature of the ruins was the large Arch. It had just turned on. Symbols were moving to the top, and the doors were opening.

There was a wormhole in the place where the doorway should be. Just then, a figure stepped out of the Arch. Immediately he noticed the cold, even though the ruins were at least 75 degrees warmer than the surrounding land. He shivered.

FIGURE (thinking): I wonder why they came here. It sure is different from the heat of Bone Dry Desert where they lived before.

Axem Inferno had just traveled billions of miles, instantly, to get tohere. He looked around and saw only snow. He started to walk away from the Arch. The two pairs of eyes were now focused on him.

AXEM INFERNO (thinking): This direction looks as good as any. Hopefully I can find a city or somebody who can help me. The creators of the Arches should be able to help shut off the lasers.

Suddenly Axem Inferno sensed something coming at him. He dropped to the ground, melted the snow and created a puddle of water. An Ice Orb flew over him, passing where he had just been. It came from the direction of the snow bank where the eyes had been.

Inferno took 5 damage from the puddle.

INFERNO 495/500

He jumped to his feet and looked at the source of the Orb. There was a huge creature standing there. It was twice as tall as Inferno and three times as wide. The creatures skin was off-white, making it hard to see in the snowy land. The creature had a large mouth, and its eyes were where the nose should have been. Instead of hands, the thing had claws. One of the oddest things about it was the second pair of eyes that were on his tail, which it kept above its head. It was constantly moving the tail, giving it a huge range of vision.

AXEM INFERNO: Well, arent you just a wonderful welcome wagon.

The Ice Creature fired another Ice Orb. Axem Inferno batted it away with his axe.

AXEM INFERNO: Well that was rude. Of course, its what I should expect from an Icion like you.

Axem Inferno gripped his axe and got into a battle stance.

ICION 1000/1000

AXEM INFERNO (thinking): Its HP is double mine, but Ive got the elemental advantage

The Icion fired a pair of Ice Orbs and Inferno fired a Fireball. The Fireball destroyed the Ice Orbs and continued on. It might the Icion and made him lose 350 HP.

Inferno charged at the Icion with his axe waved. He slashed three times. He hit the first time but missed the second two. The Icion lost 75 HP.

The Icion used his tail to grab Infernos leg and lifted him into the air by his leg. Inferno was hanging in front of the Icion. The Icion spread his claws apart and slammed them into Inferno, sandwiching him. Inferno lost 175 HP. The Icion gripped Infernos arm with its claws and squeezed. Inferno lost another 20 HP.

AXEM INFERNO 300/500

ICION 575/1000

The Icion spread his claws again, to sandwich him again. Inferno saw this coming and tried to break the tails grip, to no avail. He slashed the tail with his axe. The Icion lost 75 HP but didnt let go.

AXEM INFERNO (Thinking): Ive got to get out of this! I cant afford to take much more damage

The Icion started to bring his claws together.

AXEM INFERNO (thinking): Ive got it!

Axem Inferno used Blazer. He turned into flames and the Icions claws went right through him. The Icion lost 100 HP; 75 from the flames, and 25 from slamming his claws together so hard. The Icions tail couldnt hold onto pure flame, so Inferno fell into a snow bank. He lost 10 HP from all the snow that melted on him.

Axem Inferno turned back into solid matter and slashed the Icions foot. It hit the Icions large toe nails/ claws and did no damage. He shot off another Fireball at the Icions gut. It dove out of the way, but still lost 125 from the heat.

AXEM INFERNO 290/500

ICION 275/1000

As the Icion was getting up Inferno ran behind it. He was trying to sneak up on it, but the tail saw him. It whipped his arm. Inferno lost 40 HP. Inferno threw sent a small beam of fire into the eye on the tail. The Icion lost 50 HP and its second pair of eyes were useless.

ICION: Aaarrggghhh!!!

The Icion swept its tail wildly, in a blind rage. It tripped Inferno and the Icion spun around. It looked down at him and put its foot claw-like toenail into his side. Inferno lost 100 HP.

AXEM INFERNO 150/500

ICION 225/1000

With the other foot, the Icion kicked him. Inferno slashed its leg just before it kicked him. Inferno got thrown 20 feet and lost 100 HP. The Icion lost 75 HP.

Inferno stood up, dodged an Ice Orb the Icion had fired, and shot off three Fireballs. The Icion growled, slammed its claws on the ground, and than held them in front of itself. Jolts of electricity jumped back and forth between the claws.

AXEM INFERNO (thinking): Whats it doing? Ah well, it doesnt matter. The Fireballs will KO it.

Just before the Fireballs hit it, a large blue shield appeared in front of the Icion. The Fireballs were redirected at Inferno. He let them hit, and he regained all of his HP.

AXEM INFERNO 500/500

ICION 150/1000

Axem Inferno laughed, then saw the shield was still there. It suddenly formed into a large blue orb and started flying towards Inferno. Inferno shot a Fireball at it, but it was just bounced off. He dodged out of the way just before it hit him.

Inferno threw his axe at the Icion. It spun through the air and hit the Icion. The Icion lost 100 HP. Inferno smiled and prepared to shoot a final Fireball. Inferno then fell down, KOd. The blue orb had hit him in the back, as it was homing.

AXEM INFERNO 0/500 KOd

ICION 50/1000

The Icion ran off, looking for an icy river it could dive into and heal itself.

ELAPSE TIME AND PLACE:

Inferno was lying on his back. He opened his eyes and groaned.

AXEM INFERNO 10/500

Axem Inferno sat up and realized he was on a bed, inside a building.

AXEM INFERNO: What?

VOICE: Dont worry, youre safe in my house. I wont harm you.

Axem Inferno looked to his left and saw an Axem sitting there, studying him.
