| Episode Twenty-Two |
| NOTE: This is still part of the flashback. However, this takes place about a day after the last episode. Inferno and Over Flame were on Pyrodor. They had explored a little bit the previous day. They were just waking up, as the sun was rising. AXEM OVER FLAME: This is weird� when we got here, it was about noon. That was 24 hours ago, and now it�s only sunrise� AXEM INFERNO: Do you really expect all planets to have the same length days and years as Earth? AXEM OVER FLAME: Uh�I guess not. AXEM INFERNO: On a more important matter, I think we should go to Aquador. AXEM OVER FLAME: Why? AXEM INFERNO: For one thing, they should know we are here. We�re only about the distance from Earth to Mars from Aquador. For another thing, we should see if there is any place where we can find more fire Axems, or Jr. Koopas. For a third thing, we need their help to get this place looking cool. AXEM OVER FLAME: How about we keep it looking warm? Over Flame laughed at his own joke, but Inferno just walked over the Arch and dialed Aquador. They stepped through and came out onto a small island. Over Flame swallowed at the sight of all the water. Inferno looked a little unbalanced by it, but was handling himself better than Over Flame. AXEM OVER FLAME: A bit�wet, isn�t it? VOICE: Nope, it�s just fine. The voice came from the guards that were set on the Arch. It was a Toad who was speaking to them. After they explained what they wanted, Inferno and Over Flame were led across the bridge. At the far end, a Koopa took them and lead them to the palace. They went to the audience room of the King. The King walked out and sat on the throne. It was once again a water Axem. NOTE: The last king of Aquador was Axem H�0. This time however, the Axem seemed more kindhearted than King H�0 did. It was Axem Rain. He nodded when he saw Inferno and glanced at Over Flame. AXEM INFERNO: Hello, King Rain. I am assuming you are king� AXEM RAIN: Yes. The counsels thought that I deserved it after my efforts during the rebellion. Who is this other Axem with you? Inferno introduced Rain and Over Flame. AXEM RAIN: So, why have you come back? Inferno explained their requests, and Axem Over Flame added that the Pyrodor Arch needed to be guarded as well. AXEM RAIN: Well, as to fire Axems�I haven�t heard of many, and those I have heard of could be anywhere. Some of the Aquadorian Toads might go, but I doubt the Koopas will� PAGE! A Toad ran in and bowed to Rain. Rain told him to go and make a proclamation that anyone, who wanted to, could go to Pyrodor. The Toad ran out. Axem Inferno and Rain talked about politics mostly, so Over Flame got bored. He wasn�t interested in Pyrodor-Aquador relations, how much the builders would cost, or anything along those lines. Rain agreed to supply Pyrodor with builders, technology, guards, and food until an economy got started. In return however, Inferno was to show the Aqudorians some Earth technology, such as gunpowder. On top of this, Inferno was supposed to give some igneous rock, which is quite rare on most planets, to Aquador. One more thing that Pyrodor would receive was a list of lots of addresses, and even a type of technology that would only allow the Arch to activate on another Arch. This would keep anyone from being killed by going through into space. Inferno and Rain agreed to be allies. Inferno thanked Rain, and poked Over Flame. AXEM OVER FLAME: Uh� I don�t wanna get up. I was having a wonderful dream� AXEM INFERNO: We�re leaving now. AXEM OVER FLAME: Yay! They bowed and left the palace. When the reached the bridge, a Toad was waiting to meet them. He was all alone, except for a fiery Jr. Koopa. TOAD: Hi, we�re the ones who have decided to go to Pyrodor. AXEM INFERNO: Only two of you? JR. KOOPA: Yeah, most of the people here like it here� Only Tarn and I think it�d be fun to live somewhere else. TARN: So, when could we come? AXEM INFERNO: Uh�how about we have you come when our house is finished? TARN: What house? AXEM OVER FLAME: Some of your carpenters are coming to Pyrodor to build us a house to live in, and to help us fortify our ruins. AXEM INFERNO: I don�t suppose either of you would like to help with the fortifications? TARN: Sorry, but I�m a scholar and fighter, not a builder� AXEM OVER FLAME: He sounds as boring as you Inferno� JR. KOOPA: I�ll come. I want to get out of here ASAP. Are you going to have any guards on your Arch, or just machines? AXEM INFERNO: Some of both� JR. KOOPA: I�ll train the guards�I know a lot of battle tactics� AXEM OVER FLAME: Okay. That sounds good. Inferno, could we leave now? This water is kinda scary. I�m freaking out man. The other three laughed at him. AXEM INFERNO: Sure� He dialed Pyrodor and him, Over Flame, and the JK went through the Arch. End of Episode 22 |
