| Episode Twenty-One |
| As Inferno prepared to go to sleep, he thought of what had happened since Bob and Takhisis were defeated. This was also how he and Over Flame ended up on Pyrodor. FLASHBACK: Blue flew the blade to Over Flames island, where he dropped him off. Inferno has Blue fly him to his own home in Dry Dry Outpost. As Inferno is walking towards his house, a chill wind starts. It is quickly followed by a howling sound. Suddenly, a large wall of water appeared around Inferno and rushed in at him. He was KOd by it. He lied unconscious for an hour or so. NOTE: Takhisis placed this booby trap in Episode 15. It wasnt designed to kill him, only to KO him. When it went off, Takhisis would be alerted, and come to collect Infernos KOd body. However, he is in the crystal cell (since Episode 19) so his powers are useless. This also means he cannot teleport to Infernos house. When he woke up, he realized it must have been a trap from Takhisis, although he didnt understand why he was only KOd. He went into his tent and slept through the night. In the morning, he traveled to a governmental center to try to get them to take the Arch seriously. Unfortunately, he got the same response the RAAM official got in Episode 12. This was basically SureDid you forget to take your medicine this morning? He went outside and sat in the square of Toad Town. AXEM INFERNO (thinking): The government wont believe meI cant just let it stay unguarded; it could be another Takhisis episodeI could deactivate it, but then wed all be trapped here on Earth. Suddenly, an idea struck Inferno. AXEM INFERNO (thinking): I could go to Pyrodor, and deactivate the Earth gate! That way, I could still get the adventure of all those planets, but without the danger to Earth. Also, I could help in the fight against the evil Axems out thereI couldnt do much myself, but I could bring some Earth Axems! He set out to contact Blue. When he had, he had Blue pick him up in the blade. He then used it to travel to all the good Axems whose whereabouts were known. He asked them all to join him, but they said they would rather stay put. Even Blue wanted to stay on Earth. The last one that they went to agreed. Over Flame thought the adventure would be awesome, and that Pyrodor sounded like one sick planet. Over Flame agreed to go on one condition: They couldnt just do boring archeology stuff. Inferno agreed, since he was not planning on being an archeologist anymore. He had found something much more rewarding. Blue flew them to Bone Dry Ruins. The archeology camp was back, and this time it had some defense in case of an attack. The three Axems got out and went to see Kolorado. AXEM INFERNO: Hey Kolorado. Im going to go use the Arch to travel to Aquador. KOLORADO: Sorry old chap, but I dont give you permission. AXEM INFERNO: I wasnt asking He shifted his axe casually. KOLORADO: I was just joking The three Axems walked into the ruins. KOLORADO (thinking): Stupid good-for-nothing Inferno When they had reached the Great Chamber, Inferno walked up to the console. He started dialing Aquadors address. AXEM INFERNO: I think you should stay here AXEM BLUE: For what purpose? AXEM INFERNO: For one thing, I have friendly relations with the inhabitants. For another, you can guard the Arch. The Arch opened and Inferno walked through. ELAPSE TIME: An hour or so later: Over Flame was having fun jumping in front of the flame beams and activating them. Blue was actually doing his job, and guarding the Arch. The Arch activated, and Blue raised his axe into a throwing position. He also powered up an Energy Orb. Over Flame looked up and ran over. AXEM OVER FLAME: Yay! Maybe well get to fight! He powered up an Oriki Blast. Inferno stepped through. Over Flame fired the blast anyway, but of course it did no damage. Inferno looked at him and Axem Over Flame grinned. AXEM INFERNO: I learned how to deactivate an Arch from the Aquador library. However, it must be done from Earth. That means you will have to do it, Blue. He explained to Blue how it must be done. After a few minutes, Blue understood how to do it perfectly. Inferno again dialed up a planet, but this time it was not Aquador, although the address was almost identical. There was only one difference, and that difference made it the address for Pyrodor, not Aquador. The addresses were very similar since the two planets were so close together. Over Flame and Inferno said good-bye to Blue. Then they walked through, into the water-like wormhole. After they were gone, Blue started to do the process that Inferno had told him. When he finished, the Arch suddenly flashed gray, then red, and then returned to its normal color. The doors closed, and the console became a solid, statue-like piece of rock. Blue widened his eyes. He had just turned off the Arch, and it could not be reactivated unless someone dialed a correct address from the Earth Arch. He walked out of the ruins and Kolorado ran over to him. AXEM BLUE (thinking): Oh great, it is Kolorado. He is almost as annoying as that Bob guy. Oh how I hate that Bob! KOLORADO: Wheres the two fire-heads? Axem Blue explained what had happened. AXEM BLUE: I suggest you drop the part of your report that says the Arch really works. Otherwise someone might think you are insane KOLORADO: Yes, yes. Of course. I will miss those two. AXEM BLUE: I am sure you will. I must be going now. Good day. KOLORADO: Okay, see you later mate. Axem Blue walked over the blade and it immediately took off. Kolorado watched it and smiled. KOLORADO (thinking): Yay! That old pest is gone! Now I can get all the credit for this findExcept maybe GoombarioBut who would trust him over me? What has he ever done? Nothing! Ive gone to Dry Dry Ruins, the Crystal Palace, and a ton of other places! Wheres he been? Star Haven, Flower Fields, pah! What do those places have that Dry Dry Ruins didnt End of Episode 21 |
