| On the last episode, Snow and Aardvark fought in the first match, and Snow became the victor by freezing Aardvark�s tongue to the ground and knocking him outt. Next up is Axem Firebolt and Axem Inferno in a battle that�s going to be hard for me to write! (They both won�t be able to use their Fire attacks. Why in the world did I match their elements up?!) -------------------------------------------------- The Audience cheers after Snow�s victory. AUDIENCE: Yay. Jamey throws a Life Shroom at Aardvark. It hovers above him and restores 10 HP. AXEM AARDVARK: 10/601 AARDVARK: (Senselessly) Radishes are evil�PARGLE! SNOW: Maybe I should help him back� Snow walks Aardvark back to the Contestant�s Building. JAMEY: Our next battle will begin shortly! Please use this time to visit the lavatories or concession stands. AUDIENCE: Goodies! -------------------------------------------------- Back at the Contestant�s Building� Firebolt stands quietly in a corner of the room. FIREBOLT: (thinking) Inferno�s Fire-based attacks won�t work on me, nor will mine work on him! I guess I have to use the other half of my name to win� Inferno yawns. INFERNO: No hitting below the belt�I still don�t see why it�s out ruled� PEACE: Me neither� MERCENARY: You�re a girl, Peace. You wouldn�t want to know how it feels. BANGER: (Not paying attention) I wonder what�s taking Snow and Aardvark to get back here� Snow and Aardvark finally walk in. AARDVARK: (Still senseless) Are we there yet now? SNOW: For the last time, YES! Snow and Aardvark hit the Heart Block and restore their HP. AXEM SNOW: 600/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 601/601 GOLDENROD: Looks like Firebolt and Inferno are the next to die! FIREBOLT: Eh� INFERNO: Mm� FAST: Axem Fast says, �Word up!� MERCENARY: Wait, when did you get here? -------------------------------------------------- Back at the arena� JAMEY: I think we�ve had a long enough break, so let�s start out next battle! AUDIENCE: Yay! KEVER: Enthusiasm? When did the Audience get that? Firebolt and Inferno walk to the levitating arena and jump to opposite sides. JAMEY: Before we start, let�s remember two things: The attacks CAN hit the Audience and that I shall, no matter what, remain hottest of all of you. AUDIENCE: Ack! More bad pu-wait, what was that about the attacks? JAMEY: Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM FIREBOLT: 666/666 AXEM INFERNO: 500/500 FIREBOLT: Seeing as we can�t use Fire attacks, here�s something else. Firebolt shoots a Plasma Ball (Thunder-based) at Inferno. Inferno jumps out of the way and charges at Firebolt. INFERNO: (thinking) If I can�t use my magic attacks, I can still rely on my strength� Firebolt and Inferno clash axes. Inferno swipes at Firebolt�s feet. Firebolt jumps up high and shoots four more Plasma Balls. Inferno does his best to avoid them, but gets hit by one. He loses 60 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 666/666 AXEM INFERNO: 440/500 Inferno throws his axe at Firebolt. Firebolt simply hits it away. Inferno catches his axe while Firebolt lands on the ground. Firebolt quickly moves in and slashes Inferno twice. His attacks go right through him. INFERNO: I�m made purely of fire, you dolt! FIREBOLT: Oh. Inferno slashes hard twice at Firebolt. He loses 160 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 506/666 AXEM INFERNO: 440/500 Inferno jumps away and throws his axe again. Firebolt knocks it away and charges up for an attack Inferno quickly fetches his axe and turns to Firebolt. Firebolt smirks. FIREBOLT: (thinking) He won�t like this� Inferno smirks too. INFERNO: (thinking) He won�t like this... Inferno shoots a small bolt of electricity from his axe. Meanwhile, Firebolt unleashes his attack, Mega Thunder Blast. Lightning bolts fly down from the sky, hitting random points in the stadium, even in the Audience. AUDIENCE: WHY, WHY?! Firebolt gets hit by Inferno�s attack and regains 70 HP. Inferno gets hit by a bolt of lightning and loses 60 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 576/666 AXEM INFERNO: 380/500 INFERNO: (thinking) I can�t believe I used that, knowing he was part Lightning too! That was a mistake of an amateur! Firebolt quickly flies above Inferno. AUDIENCE: Whoa! Does this make any sense? FIREBOLT: Hey! You only look like a small bonfire from way up here! Firebolt shoots down a Plasma Ball. Inferno knocks it back with his axe. Firebolt knocks that back too and throws another Plasma Ball. Inferno negates them both with Flame Spheres. The attacks collide, creating an explosion of energy. They are both caught in it and lose 20 HP each. AXEM FIREBOLT: 486/666 AXEM INFERNO: 360/500 Inferno throws his axe at Firebolt. Firebolt flies out of the way. The axe comes back as a boomerang and Firebolt dodges again. Inferno catches his axe. INFERNO: (thinking) This is no good. All I can do chuck my axe if he keeps flying. My best chance at victory is a ring out� Firebolt swoops down and fires a Plasma Ball. Inferno flips out of the way and slashes at Firebolt. Firebolt blocks with his axe and kicks Inferno with lightning damage. Inferno grabs Firebolt�s foot and slams him down into the ground. FIREBOLT: Arg! Firebolt lost 30 HP. Inferno lost 20 HP from the kick�s electricity. AXEM FIREBOLT: 456/666 AXEM INFERNO: 340/500 Inferno follows with a hard slash. Firebolt rolls out of the way and flies back up. FIREBOLT: (thinking) Whew! I should just stay up here where it�s safe. Firebolt charges up for his Mega Thunder Blast. INFERNO: Not that again! Inferno jumps up and slashes at Firebolt. Firebolt stops charging and smirks. FIREBOLT: Thanks for doing the hard work for me! INFERNO: No problem. What�d I do? FIREBOLT: I fight best up here, so now that you�ve cornered yourself� INFERNO: Aww, nuts� Firebolt flies around Inferno using a series of Thunder-based attacks. He keeps doing this until he loses 240 HP. However, Inferno is able to slash Firebolt once and he loses 80 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 376/666 AXEM INFERNO: 100/500 Inferno touches down on the arena and breathes heavily. INFERNO: That�wasn�t a very fair trade-off� FIREBOLT: Sorry, I guess. AUDIENCE: He�guesses? FIREBOLT: (thinking) Even though I have him on the run, he might be cooking up some plan to knock me out of the arena. No matter how much HP I may have, I�d still lose if that were to happen. INFERNO: Maybe I should be thinking too� Inferno instead uses the time to heat himself with a Flame Sphere, regaining 100 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 376/666 AXEM INFERNO: 200/500 FIREBOLT: Hey! I can do that too! Firebolt does the same with a Fire Sphere. He regains 80 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 456/666 AXEM INFERNO: 200/500 FIREBOLT: So there! Firebolt looks down at Inferno. FIREBOLT: So�have anything else to say? INFERNO: (From above him) Yeah! Eat this! FIREBOLT: What?! Inferno slams his axe down on Firebolt. The force of the attack knocks him all the way to the ground. Firebolt crashes down and loses 110 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 346/666 AXEM INFERNO: 200/500 FIREBOLT: What the heck happened?! Inferno touches down. He kicks Firebolt to his waist-level and whacks him hard again with his axe. FIREBOLT: (Thinking while zooming through the sky) Wait a second� Firebolt thinks back to a few minutes ago. -------------------------------------------------- FLASHBACK Firebolt quickly flies above Inferno. AUDIENCE: Whoa! Does this make any sense? FIREBOLT: Hey! You only look like a small bonfire from way up here! Firebolt thinks back to a few seconds ago. Inferno instead uses the time to heat himself with a Flame Sphere, regaining 100 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 376/666 AXEM INFERNO: 200/500 FIREBOLT: Hey! I can do that too! Firebolt does the same with a Fire Sphere. He regains 80 HP. AXEM FIREBOLT: 456/666 AXEM INFERNO: 200/500 FIREBOLT: So there! Firebolt looks down at Inferno. FIREBOLT: So�have anything else to say? INFERNO: (From above him) Yeah! Eat this! END FLASHBACK -------------------------------------------------- FIREBOLT: (Still flying) That time he spent while I healed himself�he must have not only healed himself too, but used what I said earlier and used it to his advantage! Firebolt smashes into the Audience. AUDIENCE: AH! WHY US! FIREBOLT: (thinking) As I was healing, he created a huge ball of flame where he was standing and jumped up in the air while I wasn�t paying attention. That way, it looked like he was on the ground while he was really ready to finish me off� JAMEY: That qualifies as a ring-out! Axem Inferno is the winner! AUDIENCE: We need a barrier around us before the next episode! END OF EPISODE THREE |
