| The First Battle I've Written in Months! |
| On the last episode, Axems Goldenrod, Aardvark, Mercenary, Banger, Peace, Firebolt, Inferno, and Snow gathered for the third Tournament of Heroes. After watching the junior division, the question of, �Who will fight who?� was answered: Snow vs. Aardvark, Firebolt vs. Inferno, Banger vs. Peace, and Mercenary vs. Goldenrod. Jamey has just started off the first fight, so quit reading this and go to the action! -------------------------------------------------- AUDIENCE: I thought you already started! JAMEY: I did? Oh well! Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM SNOW: 600/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 601/601 Aardvark glares over at Snow. AARDVARK: (Thinking) Though I may have one more Hit Point than him, Snow poses a threat to me. I think I�ll make the first move. He uses his claws to dig into the stone arena he�s standing on. SNOW: (thinking) Wait, what? Is he trying to burrow? Aardvark slashes through the layer of rock to find grass, six feet below. AARDVARK: (Thinking) Accursed levitating stadium�darn you, Jamey! Without the ground, I�ll be unable to use some of my attacks! Snow materializes a Snowball and throws it at Aardvark. Aardvark flips to the side and shoots an Energy Orb at Snow. Snow blocks with his axe and charges at Aardvark. Aardvark shoots out his long tongue at Snow and lashes him on the back. SNOW: Oof! Snow loses 75 HP. AXEM SNOW: 525/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 601/601 Snow jumps back up and shoots a cold gust of wind from his palm to try and knock Aardvark out of the ring. Aardvark, unable to burrow, can�t avoid this. He is blown back, but managed to cling onto the arena with his tongue. Even so, Aardvark lost 100 HP from Snow�s attack. AXEM SNOW: 525/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 501/601 Aardvark straightens himself out and charges over to Snow. Snow charges at Aardvark and they begin clashing axes. Aardvark jumps back and fires a few Energy Orbs. Snow cancels them out with Snowballs and glares at Aardvark. Their eyes meet and Aardvark is paralyzed. SNOW: Freeze Frame�where would I be without it� Snow powers up and blows an immense Blizzard attack at Aardvark. Aardvark loses 200 HP. AXEM SNOW: 525/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 286/601 SNOW: (Thinking) What the�did he lose an extra 15 HP somewhere? Aardvark grins and lashes out his tongue. Snow rolls away and charges at Aardvark again. As soon as he started rolling, the ground beneath Snow exploded. Snow is blown onto his back and he loses 50 HP. AXEM SNOW: 475/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 286/601 SNOW: (thinking) Chances are, that HP he sacrificed was used to create whatever I stepped into� Aardvark rushes forward and slashes Snow hard with his axe. Snow loses 120 HP more. AXEM SNOW: 355/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 286/601 Snow, still on his back, blows a gust of wind at Aardvark�s face. Aardvark jumps away and fires an Energy Orb. Snow quickly gets up and blocks the attack. He then throws a Snowball back at him. Aardvark jumps up to avoid it and positions himself above Snow. AARDVARK: YAAAH!!! SNOW: AAAH!!! AUDIENCE: Ull� JAMEY: What? Snow rolls away before Aardvark can land on him. Aardvark ends up slamming his fists into the ground, creating dozens of shockwaves. Snow is hit by these and loses 100 HP. AXEM SNOW: 255/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 271/601 Snow quickly realizes that Aardvark lost another 15 HP from out of nowhere. SNOW: (Thinking) Oh no, not another mine! Snow stands still in fear of stepping on Aardvark�s attack. Aardvark shoots an energy orb from his mouth at Snow. Snow blocks this with his axe. Aardvark lashes out his tongue on Snow�s left side. Snow jumps up and makes sure he lands exactly where he started. SNOW: Seeing as how that attack followed� Snow jumps to his left and throws a Snowball at the floor to the right of him. The area the Snowball hits explodes. AARDVARK: You managed to figure it out. I was trying to lead you into stepping to the right by hitting your left side� SNOW: But I was just too smart, wasn�t I? Snow grins. SNOW: Gosh I�m so clever� :) Snow blows another Wind Chill at Aardvark. Aardvark jumps up above him before this happens and slams his tail down on Snow before he can dodge. SNOW: Ack! My lumbago! Snow loses 90 HP. AXEM SNOW: 165/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 256/601 Aardvark lost another 15 HP out of nowhere. SNOW: Can you stop with the mines already?! AARDVARK: Nope. Aardvark shoots an Energy Orb at Snow. Snow stands still and hits it back with his axe, along with a Snowball in a situation where Aardvark will have to get hit by at least one of them. Aardvark is aware the Snowball does more damage and gets hit by his Energy Orb. Aardvark loses 50 HP. AXEM SNOW: 165/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 206/601 AARDVARK: Since I can�t move you, I guess I�ll have to blow it up myself. Aardvark creates a small shockwave, blowing up his Energy Mine from before. Snow tries to jump out of the explosion, but gets slightly caught in the blast. AXEM SNOW: 155/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 206/601 Snow glares at Aardvark yet again and manages to catch him in another Freeze Frame. Snow lunges forward and slashes Aardvark three times. Aardvark loses 180 HP. AXEM SNOW: 155/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 26/601 Aardvark regains motion and jumps at Snow with a fury of slashes. Snow blocks and dodges his way through the attacks and tries a Wind Chill in the face for a win. Aardvark runs around it and slams his tail into Snow�s side. Snow is launched back and skids across the arena floor and comes inches away from falling off. Snow lost 90 HP. AXEM SNOW: 65/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 26/601 Snow is dazed on the ground, unable to avoid any attacks. Aardvark launches his tongue out for the final blow. Just before it hits, Snow grabs it with his hands. JAMEY: Amazing! Snow was only acting to be dazed just to lead Aardvark is a false sense of security! Snow slams the tip of the tongue into the ground and bolts it down with a large sheet of ice. AARDVARK: (Trying to talk) AK! NY TONG! NOTE: Your author had to stick his tongue to an ice cube just to get how that sounded. You better like that! :) SNOW: Tong? Snow leaps forward and slashes the helpless Aardvark, taking away the rest of his HP. AXEM SNOW: 65/600 AXEM AARDVARK: 0/601 SNOW: Whew! Almost lost my cool there! AUDIENCE: Audience�dying from bad puns� END OF EPISODE TWO |
