| The Purification Process |
| On the last episode, our fighters took a break for the night as plans else where were being made to sabotage the tournament at noon. It's a new morning, and the next battle is about to start, Axem Illusion vs. JK Acid! -------------------------------------------------- Our fighters race to the stadium, leaving Magnum, who is the slowest of them, in the dust. Within seconds, they reach the Contestant's Building. Jamey is waiting inside. JAMEY: Whew! I thought you'd be late! I'd be fired for sure! MIDNIGHT BLUE: It think we know who to blame. EVERYONE BUT COBALT: Cobalt! COBALT: Hey! Why is it always my fault? STRIFE: Because it IS always your fault! COABLT: Prove it! JK ACID: Well, no one else wanted to stop at that Dunkin' Donuts... ILLUSION: But we had to wait for you to buy half a dozen. JKI: Oh well, at least we're here. JKI snatches a chocolate donut with sprinkles. JKI: Mmm...sprinkles... A ACID: Right... MOONLIGHT: So why are we standing around for? JAMEY: Oh, right. Illusion and JK Acid, come with me. Illusion, JK Acid, and Jamey pass through the metal doorway to the arena. SNOW, ELITE, and TETRA: And to think, we haven't said anything until now. -------------------------------------------------- At the arena... The audience is back, and they're in their usual talkative mood. AUDIENCE: Yay. Jamey takes a remote control with only one shiny red button on it. AUDIENCE: Pretty... Jamey pushes the button and the stone platform arena begins to levitate. JAMEY: (Into a cordless microphone) It's a new day, so let's resume our tournament! Illusion and JK Acid have already positioned themselves on the platform. JAMEY: It's Axem Illusion vs. JK Acid! Ready..FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM ILLUSION: 650/650 JK ACID: 300/300 JK Acid starts by launching a slab of acid at Illuison. Illusion dodges and shoots a Lightning bolt. JK Acid blocks with his axe. JK ACID: (thinking) Already, I have set a special surprise for Illusion. He walks back a few steps from where he's standing. Illusion runs up to JK Acid to attack him from the front. JK ACID: And you run right into my Acid Bowl Trap! The spot where JK Acid was standing on sprays out sludge on Illusion. ILLUSION: AHH! Illusion loses 150 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 500/650 JK ACID: 300/300 JK Acid uses Poison Gas on Illusion. Illusion jumps out of the way. JK ACID: Time to prove I'm the first to make the homemade flamethrower! He breathes fire in his Poison Gas, causing a burst of fire. ILLUSION: Whoa! Mind Barrier time! The flames engulf Illusion, but doesn't take any damage because Mind Barrier blocks him from one attack. Illusion turns off his Mind Barrier after the attack passes. ILLUSION: (thinking) Whew! I got lucky this time, but I won't later. I only have enough energy to do that once per battle! JK Acid starts another Hot Poison attack. ILLUSION: (thinking) And something tells me he knows! Illusion rushes past him quickly, causing a following sonic boom. JK Acid holds his ground against the sonic boom. Illusion sneaks up from behind and slashes JK Acid. JK Acid loses 70 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 500/650 JK ACID: 230/300 JK ACID: Wow, you're even dumber than I thought! ILLUSION: What?! Another Acid Bowl Trap erupts on Illusion. ILLUSION: NO!!! JK ACID: Yes! Knowing you'd use your speed to attack from behind, like you did with Elite, I made a surprise behind me! ILLUSION: Curse you! Illusion lost 150 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 350/650 JK ACID: 230/300 JK Acid withdraws into his shell for a Shell Toss. Illusion rolls out of the way and uses a Lightning Attack. JK Acid is hit, but doesn't take damage. ILLUSION: (thinking) I guess he can't take damage while he's in his shell. JK Acid comes back for another Shell Toss. Illusion uses the wings on his back for a Windstorm. JK Acid is blown to a corner of the arena, almost falling off. He pops out of his shell. Illusion dashes toward him for a punch at the face. JK Acid's head withdraws into his shell to dodge. ILLUSION: Whoa! JK Acid kicks Illusion back and he loses 40 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 310/650 JK ACID: 230/300 JK Acid pops his head back up. JK ACID: Man, I love being a turtle! ILLUSION: Well one of these days, Acid, I'm going to punch you in the face!...Like right now! NOTE: The "I'm going to punch you in the face!" line is from "That's my Bush!" Illusion uses his Mind Control attack and commands JK Acid to stand still. Illusion uses this time to punch JK Acid in the face twice, spashing the sludge he's made of around the arena. AUDIENCE: Let's not get any on us again... JK Acid lost 60 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 310/650 JK ACID: 170/300 JK ACID: Time to use my Poison Illusion! ILLUSION: Illusion, huh? This I gotta see... JK Acid creates a large cloud of poison gas. ILLUSION: I get it! By englufing me with that air pollution, I'll halucinate. Right, JK Acid? JK ACID:...Maybe! ILLUSION: I'll take that as a yes. Now to counter attack. Illusion creates a Windstorm, with his wings, blowing the gas away from the stadium. AUDIENCE: Yay. JK ACID: Hey! Who's side are you on anyway?! AUDIENCE: Illusion's! ILLUSION: Ah, I knew it. He blows them kisses. JK ACID: Kiss this! (thinking) Hey! That rhymes! He launches a glob of sludge at Illusion. Illusion jumps out of the way and uses a Lightning attack. JK Acid blocks with his axe. Illusion uses three more Lightning spells. JK Acid blocks these too. JK ACID: Grr...I've had enough of you! Time for my final attack. AUDIENCE: Yay. ILLUSION: What?! Now you're leaving me?! AUDIENCE: Yes! JK Acid takes off his shell, decreasing his defense by 50 points. ILLUSION: (thinking) What is he doing! A Koopa Troopa NEVER takes off their shell voluntarily... JK ACID: I trade my defense in for my ultimate attack, ATOMIC POISON! JK Acid erupts like a volcano, blasting sludge all over the arena. ILLUSION: Oh man, I wish I hadn't used my Mind Barrier so early on! Wait, I know! Illusion touches two fingers to his head, coming in contact to his mind. Just then, the Atomic Poison reaches Illuison, engulfing him. JK ACID: There! I get to move to the next round! Wait, what! Illusion is unharmed. In desperation, Illusion used Create Illusion on himself, and since anything in his illusions become real to what he casted it on, he created the illusion he was in a biological hazard suit. JK ACID: What?! All this because his cheap little illusion?! Illusion breaks out of his illusion. ILLUSION: You betcha! AXEM ILLUSION: 310/650 JK ACID: 170/300 ILLUSION: It's time I finished YOU off! JK ACID: Try me! Besides my physical defense, I have no weakness! ILLUSION: Yes you do. Everyone has this weakness: Fear. JK ACID: Fear? I have no fear! ILLUSION: Wrong again, this is your fear! Ilusion uses Create Illusion around JK Acid. JK ACID: (thinking) I'll show him. Even in this illusion, I will show him JK Acid is no wuss! Everything around him turns a blank white, and slowly, an image starts around him. JK ACID: Bring it on! Nothing will stop me! JK Acid is in the illusion of a factory of 409. WORKER #1: Hey! What the heck is that! WORKER #2: I don't know, but it looks dirty! Spray him! The two workers grab bottles of 409 and start towards JK Acid. JK ACID: EEK!!! WORKER #1: Bye bye, dustball! JK ACID: AHH! I GIVE UP! I GIVE UP! JUST DON'T DO IT! The illusion stops. ILLUSION: I thought that was your fear. JAMEY: The battle is over! The winner is Axem Illusion! END OF EPISODE NINE |
