| The Moonlit Battle |
| On the last episode, JKI and Axem Midnight Blue fought dangerously close to 12:00 AM. Before midnight struck, JKI pummeled Midnight Blue with an Indigo Blast and became the victor. It is late at night, but only one more battle will end the day, Axem Cobalt vs. Axem Moonlight! -------------------------------------------------- In the Contestant�s Building� SNOW: Loser! MIDNIGHT BLUE: What did you say, Frosty? SNOW: I called you a loser for losing to JKI! JKI: Wait, what�s that supposed to mean� MAGNUM: And now I know you are not worthy of fighting me. MIDNIGHT BLUE: � JK ACID: So much for Midnight Blue AXEM ACID: �Right� Illusion walks over to JKI. ILLUSION: What a jerk. JKI: Which one? ILLUSION: All of them. JKI: Oh� STRIFE: Let�s stop talking and find out who�s up next. TETRA: If I�m right it�s Cobalt and Moonlight. MOONLIGHT: Yup. COBALT: You betcha! ELITE: Good. Now go help Jamey with the crowd. Cobalt and Moonlight walk out to the arena. Snow grins. SNOW: Cat fight� -------------------------------------------------- Back at the arena� AUDIENCE: ZZZzzzZZZ� JAMEY: (Into his microphone) WAKE UP!!! Everyone but Kever wakes up. KEVER: (Sleep talking) Hey! That�s my pizza� FAST: Axem Fast wants you to ignore him. Cobalt and Moonlight walk to the arena. JAMEY: It�s time to start our last battle of the night! Axem Cobalt vs. Axem Moonlight! AUDIENCE: Whoopie� Cobalt and Moonlight jump to opposite sides of the arena. COBALT: You better get ready! MOONLIGHT: Er�ditto. JAMEY: Enough talk! Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM COBALT: 710/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 650/650 Moonlight starts by charging at Cobalt, looking nearly invisible in the night. COBALT: (thinking) Strange. I can barely see her. Must be because she�s Moonlight and it�s dark. Moonlight slashes at Cobalt twice. Cobalt blocks them both and slashes back. Moonlight blocks too. They grit their teeth and stare at each other�s eyes. All of a sudden, one of Moonlight�s eyes change from gray to green. COBALT: (thinking) What the heck was that about? Cobalt is then unable to move. MOONLIGHT: Sorry girl, but you fell victim to my Stun attack. It paralyzes you in place! Even though Cobalt can�t move, she can still think. COBALT: (thinking) Hey, I remember a tactic just like it. It was Snow�s Freeze Frame, four years ago! But how did I defend against it� Moonlight uses her Creep Axe attack. Cobalt is unable to do anything and she loses 120 HP. AXEM COBALT: 590/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 650/650 MOONLIGHT: Only I have the freaky eye thing! Cobalt regains motion and hits Moonlight with a Brain Drain. Moonlight is now confused. Moonlight punches herself while Cobalt slashes. Moonlight loses 140 HP. AXEM COBALT: 590/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 510/650 COBALT: Stop hitting yourself! Cobalt sprays her paralyzing Blue Mist attack at Moonlight. Moonlight jumps to avoid it and shoots 3 Moonfire Orbs. Cobalt blocks them all and charges at Moonlight. Moonlight uses Bright Night. A bright flash of light radiates off Moonlight. The light temporarily blinds everyone watching. AUDIENCE: Our new favorite color is glowing! Moonlight slashes Cobalt and she loses 90 HP. AXEM COBALT: 500/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 510/650 As soon as Cobalt is slashes, she slashes back blindly. Moonlight dodges and jumps back. Cobalt rubs her eyes and covers the whole ring with a Blue Mist. Moonlight gets caught and becomes paralyzed. Cobalt dashes to Moonlight and uses an Axe Tornado. Moonlight loses 180 HP. AXEM COBALT: 500/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 330/650 Moonlight regains movement and prepares her Stun attack. COBALT: Uh oh. Cobalt rushes up to Moonlight and holds the flat side of her axe in Moonlight�s face. Moonlight changes eye color and uses her Stun. She is then paralyzed instead of Cobalt. MOONLIGHT: (thinking) What is this?! How did I fall victim to my own attack?! Cobalt uses another Axe Tornado and Moonlight loses another 180 HP. AXEM COBALT: 500/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 150/650 Moonlight regains motion. MOONLIGHT: What did you do to me?! COBALT: I used your own attack against you! You should have known our axes make good mirrors! My axe was able to reflect your attack! MOONLIGHT: You�re pretty wise to think that up so quickly. COBALT: Actually, I�ve done that before, just against Snow. SNOW: (Yelling from the Contestant�s Building) Hey! You�re right! Moonlight charges at Cobalt for a Creep Axe attack. Cobalt jumps up and fires a Brain Drain. Moonlight blocks it with her axe. MOONLIGHT: Lunar Ray! Moonlight fires a gray beam of light at where Cobalt is about to land. Since Cobalt can�t fly, she can�t avoid it. COBALT: AAH! Cobalt is engulfed by the Lunar ray and she loses 130 HP. AXEM COBALT: 370/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 150/650 COBALT: Ugg� She is dazed from the Lunar Ray. Moonlight uses Creep Axe and Cobalt loses 120 HP. AXEM COBALT: 250/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 150/650 Cobalt is back to her senses and jumps back. COBALT: Whoa! This girl plays rough! MOONLIGHT: (thinking) One more hit and I�ll use it. Cobalt shoots down a Brain Drain at Moonlight. Moonlight rolls to avoid it and shoots 3 Moonfire Orbs. Cobalt blocks all but one and she loses 80 HP. AXEM COBALT: 170/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 150/650 MOONLIGHT: It�s time I made this battle much more interesting, Cobalt! COBALT: (thinking) Which means she�ll prepare an attack! Free hits galore! Moonlight powers up her ultimate attack in one hand, Moonlight Shadow Ball. Cobalt charges at Moonlight and slashes at her. Moonlight blocks with her other hand and still powers up. Cobalt uses a Brain Drain. Moonlight blocks this too. Moonlight is finally done powering up. She grins at Cobalt. MOONLIGHT: Behold the true power of darkness! COBALT: No! I failed to stop her! Moonlight launches her Moonlit Shadow Ball into the area above the arena. It only reaches a few feet above them and slowly descends on both the fights. COBALT: What are you doing?! You�ll be crushed too! MOONLIGHT: I only promised to make this more interesting, didn�t I? The attack crushes them both slowly. They both lose 149 HP. AXEM COBALT: 21/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 1/650 The attack disappears and Cobalt and Moonlight are seen kneeling. COBALT: (Panting) Why�did you risk�yourself? MOONLIGHT: (Panting) It was all�to impress�the audience! AUDIENCE: ZZZzzzZZZ� JAMEY: WAKE UP!!! The two fighters slowly get up. Cobalt fires a Brain Drain at Moonlight. MOONLIGHT: It�s time I do something you taught me. Moonlight reflects it back by hitting it with the flat side of her axe. COBALT: Oh no! Cobalt tries to block, but in her state of weakness, is unable to. She is then hit by her own attack and confused. She slashes herself and loses the rest of her HP. AXEM COBALT: 0/710 AXEM MOONLIGHT: 1/650 MOONLIGHT: The end of the match� END OF EPISODE SEVEN |
