| On the last episode, Axem Great Water and his gang fused together to form Axem Great GREAT Water. Virtually indestructible, he started to take the contestants down, one after another, until a plan was crafted to make Great Water fall to a single attack: The Midnight Blue Whirl. The stadium is in shambles and Jamey is nowhere in sight, so how will we start the next battle? -------------------------------------------------- The remaining contestants stare down at the KO�ed gangsters. Midnight Blue smiles evilly in triumph. MIDNIGHT BLUE: MWAHAHA! I�M INVINCIBLE! EVERYONE: � JAMEY: (from a distance) Let�s hope I�m not too late� Jamey runs in and revives the KO�ed contestants with a pile of Life Shrooms. They wake up with a large groan, except Cobalt. COBALT: Mmm�Life Shroom� SNOW: So what are we going to do with these criminals? Throwing them in a jail cell is like asking them to break out. MAGNUM: My thoughts exactly. Magnum prepares a Mortar Shell attack on Rain. Strife runs up and wraps Magnum in chains to stop his attack. TETRA: Killing them is out of the question� JAMEY: Wait. I got a better idea! A few minutes later, they each gang member is in their own special cage based on their elements. Water ones are in electric cages. Fire ones are in trip-wired water cages, and Ice ones are in moderate fire cages. JAMEY: And that�s the power of quiz show money! MOONLIGHT: I hope your amazing powers will help us get back Fast. JAMEY: They have! EVERYONE: WHAT?! JAMEY: While you guys- COBALT and MOONLIGHT: PEOPLE! JAMEY: Right. While you people were fighting, I managed to save the president! Fast runs in with his regular mood. FAST: Axem Fast says, �Cool.� JAMEY: I threw some cash around and found an antidote at Shiver City. It was called Supersoft, and it cures all forms of petrification. The audience walks back into the broken stadium. AUDIENCE: I think we�ve heard of Supersoft somewhere� NOTE: Supersoft is an item in Final Fantasy IX. JK ACID: What are we going to do now? We have a damaged stadium, so how will we compete? FAST: Axem Fast has an extra stadium on a different island. ILLUSION: Man, how much do you spend on this stuff? -------------------------------------------------- 20 minutes later� Everyone is transported to another island, with an exact copy of the first stadium. EVERYONE:� The levitating platform starts to hover its normal 6 feet above the ground as the Audience sits back in the stands. AUDIENCE: SITTING in the STANDS? Delicious� Jamey pulls out a wireless microphone. JAMEY: Sorry for the inconvenience, but it�s time to continue with the tournament! Next up are Axem Illusion and Axem Magnum! AUDIENCE: Yay. Illusion slowly walks next to Magnum to the arena. ILLUSION: Magnum, can you go any faster? If I go slower, I�ll get a cramp. MAGNUM: This is my fastest, but I�ll do myself a favor and slow down a bit. Illusion pushes Magnum all the way to his side of the ring. Illusion jumps to his side. JAMEY: And we FINALLY start our tenth battle! Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM ILLUSION: 650/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 700/700 Illusion sticks out his tongue at Magnum and powers up a Lightning attack. ILLUSION: (playfully) I know your weakness! MAGNUM: Me too. Magnum fires a Bullet at Illusion. Illusion rolls to the side and unleashes his stored electricity. Magnum can�t dodge this. He loses 200 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 650/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 500/700 Magnum shoots 5 Bullets at Illusion. Illusion blocks the first 3 and jumps over the last two. He flies forward for a Mind Numb attack. The attack has no effect on Magnum. ILLUSION: Oh, right. Mind attacks don�t work on Machines, and you�re mostly that. MAGNUM: Right. That�s why I like being the way I am, full of circuitry and metal. Magnum shoots a Mortar Shell at the airborne Illusion. Illusion rather stupidly blocks with his axe. ILLUSION: (thinking) Wait a second�don�t these things explode on contact? The Mortar Shell explodes, blowing Illusion back. Illusion lands on the arena platform, but loses 110 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 540/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 500/700 Illusion gets up, just in time to see a barrage of Bullets heading his way. ILLUSION: Ah, nuts. He uses Mind Barrier before the attacks hit. No damage is dealt to him. MAGNUM: (thinking) Good. With his Mind Barrier out of the way, I�ll have a direct path to his HP. Illusion comes back with an uncharged Lightning attack. It hits Magnum dead on. He loses 150 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 540/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 350/700 MAGNUM: (thinking) That�s it. Just a little more damage� Illusion rushes past Magnum while slashing him four times with his axe. Magnum decides to take the hits. He loses 65 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 540/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 285/700 MAGNUM: Perfect. Magnum spits out his three Bob-omb Minions, which automatically start to march to Illusion. ILLUSION: Uh oh. He throws his axe at one, causing it to explode on another. The axe comes back like a boomerang and hits the last. Magnum spits out three more Bob-ombs to replace the lost ones. ILLUSION: (thinking) He must have an unlimited supply. MAGNUM: (thinking) Luckily, I have an unlimited supply. Magnum starts shooting Bullets as the minions march closer. ILLUSION: Man! Give me a break already! MAGNUM: I do not understand. You want me to break you? Illusion would say something to this, but he�s busy dodging Bullets. As he�s dodging, the Bob-ombs explode on Illusion. He loses 150 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 390/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 285/700 Magnum spits out another group of Bob-omb Minions. MAGNUM: Attack! Show that poor excuse for a warrior what you�re made of! Illusion uses the wings on his back to create powerful gusts of wind at Magnum. MAGNUM: That doesn�t work. I�m too heavy to be blown away. ILLUSION: But your friends are! MAGNUM: What?! The Bob-ombs he just spat fly into him. He loses only 30 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 390/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 255/700 ILLUSION: And now�Lightning Strike attack! Illusion summons a Lightning bolt to hit Magnum. Magnum loses 200 more HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 390/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 55/700 MAGNUM: Curse you, Illusion! Magnum angrily fires his Bullets. ILLUSION: (thinking) Uh oh�I gotta be careful. When he gets mad like this, he starts to take control. Illusion manages to dodge all but one Bullet. He loses 120 HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 270/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 55/700 Soon after, a wave of Ice Bullets flies towards Illusion. Illusion uses Create Illusion. He creates a wall of fire in front of him, stopping his Ice attack. MAGNUM: GRR! ILLUSION: (thinking) Whoops� Magnum blasts a combination of all his attacks. This includes Bullets of three types, Mortar Shells, and Bob-omb Minions. ILLUSION: I will now end this battle anti-climatically using a move I have already used. Illusion beats the wings on his back as hard as he can, causing a heavy windstorm. The windstorm causes all of Magnums attacks to change direction, right back at him. AUDIENCE: Mirror Force! Magnum is too slow to dodge any of this. He takes every ounce of damage, which is more than enough to take out the rest of his HP. AXEM ILLUSION: 270/650 AXEM MAGNUM: 0/700 ILLUSION: Like I said to Strife, the greatest weakness in power is the power itself. END OF EPISODE FIFTEEN |
