| On the last episode, Axem Cobalt and Axem Titanium squared off in the final match of the tournament. The rally shuffled back and forth, and after a while, their HP became depleted. Now, after one last charge towards each other, they both have been KO�ed! Who will win? What are the tie breaking procedures? Read and find out! -------------------------------------------------- Jamey looks at the KO�ed fighters. JAMEY: Wow! I don�t believe this! As referee, I must announce the tie breaking rules! The first person to get up and say they�re the King or Queen of Duelists becomes just that! MIDNIGHT BLUE: Well that took a lot of thought. -------------------------------------------------- Three minutes later� Titanium opens one eye, and then the other. He slowly gets up. JAMEY: Titanium! To win, you must claim you are the King of Duelists! Now say it! TITANIUM: (exhaustedly) I�am�the�K- Titanium faints. TITANIUM: (in his sleep) So�hungry� JAMEY: Oh! I believe that doesn�t count, for we don�t accept incomplete sentences. Cobalt slowly gets up. JAMEY: Let�s see if Cobalt is in the mood to talk! Cobalt, claim yourself the Queen of Duelists! COBALT: (senselessly) How many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon? Cobalt faints too. JAMEY:�Two and a half? Anyway, what the heck was that about? Titanium gets up again. JAMEY: Let�s see if Titanium can manage this time� Titanium breathes for a few seconds, and then looks at the audience. TITANIUM: (triumphantly) I AM THE KING OF DUELISTS! The audience jumps back in surprise. TITANIUM: YOU HEARD ME! I AM THE KING OF DUELISTS! The audience quickly bursts with applause. Cobalt gets up. COBALT: What? What happened? Did I win? JAMEY: I�m afraid not Cobalt. Please try again. COBALT: Ah, shoot� Cobalt walks back to the Contestant�s Building. TITANIUM: Wish time! Wish time! Wish time! Axem Fast gets up from his seat and instantly appears next to Titanium. TITANIUM: Wish time! Wish time! Wish time! FAST: Axem Fast says, �Shut up!� Titanium shuts his mouth. FAST: Axem Fast will grant you one wish as long as it�s in my power. Axem Fast wants you to say it�now. The audience turns their full attention to Titanium. TITANIUM: Hmm�coming this far, I haven�t even thought about this� Titanium�s stomach growls. TITANIUM: I know! I wish� JAMEY: (thinking) Come on! A new quiz show! COBALT: (thinking) Harry Potter seven! MIDNIGHT BLUE: (thinking) World domination! TITANIUM:�for a turkey sandwich! Kever (who got arrested on the second episode) runs back into the stadium. KEVER: YOU�VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! Wish for all his money! POLICEMEN: There he is! Charge! The policemen and Kever run out of the stadium. On the other hand, Fast has Titanium�s sandwich ready. FAST: Axem Fast has granted your wish. Fast hands the sandwich on a dinner plate. Titanium snatches it and gobbles it down within seconds. TITANIUM: Hmm�I should have requested mayonnaise instead of mustard. Titanium walks back to the Contestant�s building. Back at the Contestant�s Building� JKI: Wow. What a great wish� STRIFE: I couldn�t have said it better� MIDNIGHT BLUE: Fools! This is an outrage! These are the most idiotic things I�ve heard of! Money! Properties! Planets! Now those are real wishes! Midnight Blue�s stomach growls. MIDNIGHT BLUE: But I could use a turkey sandwich� COBALT: Ultra Shrooms are just as good! Cobalt eats a few to recover her HP. COBALT: 710/710 SNOW: Who needs food when you got absorbing powers? Titanium walks in. SNOW: All hail to the king! All hail to the king! Everyone but Midnight Blue bows before Titanium. TITANIUM: Why thank you lords and lady. Now get up. Everyone gets up. JKI: Now what do we do? COBALT: I don�t know. It�s all up to what Jamey announces. -------------------------------------------------- Back at the stadium� JAMEY: (thinking) What now? Fast runs back to the arena. FAST: Axem Fast has an idea. Fast whispers in Jamey�s ear. JAMEY: Great! I�ll announce it right away. Jamey turns on his microphone. JAMEY: By special request of President Fast, we will now hold a Battle Royal! All competitors in the tournament, please report to the arena and fight in this free-for-all no-one�s-your-buddy contest! -------------------------------------------------- Back at the Contestant�s Building� STRIFE: There�s our answer. COBALT: Sounds fun. Count me in. STRIFE: Me too. JKI: Me three! SNOW: I�m in too. MIDNIGHT BLUE: It wouldn�t be fun without me. TITANIUM: I won�t. EVERYONE: Why not? TITANIUM: Knowing you guys�sorry Cobalt, people, you�d all be aiming for me. JKI: Good point. You stay behind while we have some fun. Everyone but Titanium walks to the arena. TITANIUM: Besides, it�s bad to eat and then fight. -------------------------------------------------- Axems Cobalt, Strife, Snow, and Midnight Blue with JKI walk to the levitating arena. JAMEY: And here come our competitors! Let�s see which one of these�five will win in the Battle Royal! Jamey talks to the first Axem he sees, Midnight Blue. JAMEY: Hey, where�s Titanium. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Watching. That coward� The fighters go to their starting points. Cobalt is in the middle, since she went farthest in the tournament. Everyone else is in a corner. JAMEY: Let the Battle Royal begin! Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM COBALT: 710/710 JKI: 700/700 AXEM STRIFE: 500/500 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1600/1600 AXEM SNOW: 600/600 Everyone starts by charging at Cobalt. Strife makes it there first and clashes axes with Cobalt. Once everyone else arrives, Cobalt jumps up to avoid. Midnight Blue throws a Dark Energy Sphere at Cobalt and she loses 100 HP. While Midnight Blue does that, everyone else slashes Midnight Blue. He loses 200 HP. AXEM COBALT: 610/710 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1400/1600 JKI uses Hypnosis on Strife. Strife shoots out of the way and uses Quick Shot. JKI loses 25 HP. Midnight Blue fires a Midnight Blue Beam at JKI and he loses 250 HP. JKI: 425/700 Strife jumps up high and out of sight. Snow clashes his axe against Cobalt�s. JKI shoots his Eye Lasers at Snow and Cobalt and they lose 50 HP each. Midnight Blue hits Snow with a Dark Sphere and he loses 100 HP more. Strife comes down and uses Jump Axe on Midnight Blue and he loses 75 HP. AXEM COBALT: 560/710 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1325/1600 AXEM SNOW: 450/600 Cobalt covers the field with a Blue Mist and everyone is paralyzed. Cobalt walks around to slash everyone once. Everyone loses 50 HP, except Snow, who loses 40 HP, who has some physical defense. Everyone becomes unparalyzed and they slash at Cobalt. COBALT: AHH! Cobalt loses 300 HP. AXEM COBALT: 260/710 JKI: 375/700 AXEM STRIFE: 450/500 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1275/1600 AXEM SNOW: 410/600 JKI throws Magic Sphere at everyone. Everyone dodges and charge at JKI. JKI: Uh oh. JKI levitates above them. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Pah! Watch this! Midnight Blue powers up. JKI: Looks bad� JKI covers himself with a Magic Shield. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Like that�ll help. Midnight Blue fires his Midnight Blue Whirl at JKI. It�s sea of Dark Spheres swallow JKI. JKI: AHH!!! JKI loses 9949 HP, and is KO�ed. JKI: 0/700 JAMEY: Stop the battle! Jamey throws a Life Shroom at the unconscious JKI and he is revived. JAMEY: JKI, you have been eliminated. Please report back to the Contestant�s Building. JKI walks back to the Contestant�s Building as everyone takes a corner of the arena. JAMEY: Resume battle! -------------------------------------------------- AXEM COBALT: 260/710 AXEM STRIFE: 450/500 AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1275/1600 AXEM SNOW: 410/600 Cobalt and Strife battle each other. Axem Midnight Blue battles with Snow. Cobalt uses a Blue Mist to paralyze Strife. Cobalt next uses an Axe Tornado and Strife loses 150 HP. Strife jumps back and charges at Cobalt for a Head butt. Cobalt stops him with a Brain Drain. Strife slashes himself twice while senseless and loses 100 HP. Strife snaps out of it and slashes Cobalt once, losing 50 HP. AXEM COBALT: 210/710 AXEM STRIFE: 250/500 STRIFE: You�re losing your touch, Cobalt. Maybe if I didn�t gamble in our fight, I would�ve won. COBALT: I am not losing my, �Touch.� I won because you were careless! Strife shoots behind Cobalt and tries an Axe Tornado. Cobalt jumps out of the way and him off balance by swiping at his feet. Strife stops spinning and shoots to Cobalt�s right side. Cobalt sticks out her right foot. Strife trips on it and goes flying. STRIFE: WOAAHH! Strife falls next to the Contestant�s Building, outside the ring. Seeing what just happened, he walks back to the nearby Contestant�s Building. JAMEY: Axem Strife is out of the battle! -------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile� AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1275/1600 AXEM SNOW: 410/600 Midnight Blue fires a Dark Sphere. Snow bats it back with his axe. Midnight Blue lets himself be hit with this and regains 100 HP. MIDNIGHT BLUE: You�re not the only one with absorbing powers! And now it�s time to pay you back for our last battle! Midnight Blue fires many Dark Spheres. Snow dodges them all and throws a barrage of Snowballs. Midnight Blue blasts them with more Dark Spheres and uses Black Lightning. Snow takes the hit and loses 200 HP. Snow uses Blizzard and Midnight Blue loses 200 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1075/1600 AXEM SNOW: 210/600 Snow fires five Wind Chills at Midnight Blue. Midnight Blue fights against the heavy winds. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Arg! This again! Snow throws Snowballs at the same time. Midnight Blue vaporizes them with Dark Spheres. Because Midnight Blue put down his guard to throw Dark Spheres, the Wind Chills blows him back. Midnight Blue almost falls off the arena, but manages to hang off the side. Midnight Blue lost 50 HP from the Wind Chills. Midnight Blue gets back up and slashes at Snow angrily. MIDNIGHT BLUE: I�m going to slice and dice till I pay you back for all the humiliation you�ve caused me! Snow blows him back with a Snow Spray and a Wind Chill. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Ack! The combo! Midnight Blue loses 30 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 995/1600 Midnight Blue flies into the audience and falls on a few spectators. They start to cuss at Midnight Blue. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Sorry I didn�t rearrange your molecules then! Midnight Blue walks back to the Contestant�s Building. JAMEY: Axem Midnight Blue has fallen out of the ring! Now only two fighters remain. SNOW: Too bad, Midnight Blue. The moment you lose your cool, you lose the battle. JAMEY: Axem Midnight Blue has fallen out of the ring! Snow hits himself with a Blizzard to recover 200 HP. AXEM SNOW: 410/600 COBALT: YAHH!!! Cobalt swipes at Snow with all her might. Snow manages to dodge. COBALT: Now it�s just you and me. AXEM COBALT: 210/710 AXEM SNOW: 410/600 Snow charges at Cobalt. Cobalt uses a Blue Mist. Snow hits it back with a Wind Chill. Cobalt is hit by her own attack and is paralyzed. Snow uses a Blizzard and she loses 200 HP. AXEM COBALT: 10/710 AXEM SNOW: 410/600 Cobalt fires a Brain Drain. Snow dodges and charges at Cobalt. Cobalt jumps up and fires many Brain Drains. Snow is hit by one and becomes senseless. Snow slashes at himself twice. Cobalt comes down and uses an Axe Tornado. Snow loses 200 HP. AXEM COBALT: 10/710 AXEM SNOW: 210/600 SNOW: I�m not going to lose coming this far! Snow starts a Snow Spray. Cobalt immediately uses a Blue Mist to paralyze the Snow Spray. SNOW: Tch. Snow throws a barrage of Snowballs. Cobalt cuts most of them in half and all the rest are dodged. Cobalt uses a Brain Drain. Snow gets hit and slashes himself three times. He loses 120 HP. AXEM COBALT: 10/710 AXEM SNOW: 90/600 COBALT: Hmm�I wanted you to forfeit again, but that will do. Cobalt charges at Snow. Snow charges at Cobalt. They meet and clash axes. SNOW: I�m amazed you put yourself at risk like this. One hit and you lose! Snow ends up going on the offensive and Cobalt keeps blocking. SNOW: (thinking) Come on! Lose already! Cobalt starts to attack back. Now Snow starts to block. Snow trips Cobalt with his foot. She falls to the ground and her axe falls out of the arena. COBALT: NOOO!!! Snow keeps Cobalt from moving by keeping a foot on her. SNOW: Sorry, Cobalt. Snow throws an icy punch at Cobalt�s face and she loses the rest of her HP. AXEM COBALT: 0/710 AXEM SNOW: 90/600 SNOW WON BECAUSE HE WAS CLOSEST TO MY SECRET NUMBER WITH HIS NUMBER (something around 800). MY SECRET NUMBER WAS 1400 (The attack strength of my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Card, the Celtic Guardian). END OF EPISODE NINE |
