| Cobalt, Strife, and the Axe Tornado |
| On the last episode, the Junior Division started! Even though each fight seems to be more pathetic than the one before, Axems Cobalt, Strife, Titanium, Snow, and Midnight Blue, along with JKI keep watching the fights on a levitating arena. -------------------------------------------------- Midnight Blue is still the most disappointed about the junior division. MIDNIGHT BLUE: (Thinking) This is absurd! I�ve seen two garden worms fight better than these weaklings! After three hours of slap fights, crying, and wedgies, it gets to the final round: The Red Yoshi Kid vs. Tiny Tim. They stand on opposite sides of the levitating arena, looking each other in the eye. JAMEY: Ready�FIGHT! Jamey crosses his arms as he says, �Fight,� signaling the battle starts then. JAMEY: (Thinking) Man, I�ll never get tired of doing that! Jamey smiles. The battle begins. -------------------------------------------------- RED YOSHI KID: 50/50 TINY TIM: 35/35 Tiny Tim charges at the Red Yoshi Kid, in hopes for a first strike. The Red Yoshi Kid opens his mouth, sticks out his tongue, and wraps it around Tiny Tim. He then returns his tongue back to his mouth, along with Tiny Tim. Tiny Tim loses 5 HP RED YOSHI KID: 50/50 TINY TIM: 30/35 JAMEY: Whoa! Is that even legal?! Jamey looks at Axem Fast. AXEM FAST: Axem Fast allows it. The Red Yoshi Kid swallows Tiny Tim and lays him out as an egg. The egg, in mid-air, falls behind the Red Yoshi Kid, outside of the ring. Tiny Tim pops out 2 seconds later. AXEM FAST: Axem Fast allows that too. Tiny Tim starts crying. JAMEY: Oh! Because Tiny Tim landed outside of the ring, he is officially disqualified, meaning the Red Yoshi Kid is the victor, and the winner of the junior division! TINY TIM: (still crying) No way! (sniff) He cheated! (sob) JAMEY: I�m afraid not. Tiny Tim wails unbearably until his Mom picks him up. MOMMY TIM: (to Jamey) I might as well sue your pants off! JAMEY: (thinking) She�ll never win� Meanwhile, the Red Yoshi Kid is dancing around happily! RED YOSHI KID: Alright! I won! Jamey walks toward him, holding a trophy. JAMEY: Congratulations! You�re officially the Junior King of Duelists, and as another prize, you get to have one wish granted, as long as it�s in my power. Everyone in the audience gasps. AXEMS AND JKI: WHAT!? ONE WISH!? They start to think of what they want when they win. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: (thinking) Perfect! This could be worth while after all! After I beat these losers, I�ll destroy everyone! But first, let�s see what this little brat will have� RED YOSHI KID: I wish� The audience turns their attention to the center of the arena. RED YOSHI KID:�for a gift certificate at Walmart! Kever, the leader of a criminal organization stands up. KEVER: WHAT?! THAT�S THE STUPIDEST THING I�VE EVER HEARD! AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: (thinking) Took the words right out of my mouth� TOURNAMENT POLICE CHIEF: Hey! That�s Kever! Sick �em, boys! Many policemen go to arrest Kever. KEVER: Never! Kever runs away, but the police eventually get to him. They send him off to prison. JAMEY: Right�oh here�s your prize! Jamey hands the Red Yoshi Kid the a $5 gift certificate for Walmart out of his pocket. The Red Yoshi Kid smiles. RED YOSHI KID: Alright! Time to buy more Yu-Gi-Oh Cards! The Red Yoshi Kid runs off to find his father. JAMEY: Oh well, kids�I�d like to make an announcement! Since the Junior Division took much shorter than we though, there will be a two-hour break until the real tournament begins! JKI looks at his watch. It reads 7:01 PM. Our six warriors start to leave the stadium. SNOW: Now what do we do? COBALT: We might as well eat something now before we fight. TITANIUM: I�m okay with that! STRIFE: Then we head back before we�re late. Midnight Blue remains silent with his arms crossed. That�s his way of saying, �Whatever.� JKI: As long as we don�t have to see any more whiny kids. One hour, 30 minutes later� The six leave a restaurant/buffet Cobalt burps. COBALT: I can�t believe I ate the whole thing� STRIFE: We should be heading back to the stadium. They all nod in agreement. 10 minutes later� They make it back to the stadium, which is now crowded with people. TITANIUM: I think we�re lost� They hear a voice on an intercom. VOICE: May I have your attention, please! TITANIUM: That�s Jamey! JAMEY: All participants for the Tournament of Heroes, please report to the sign-up gate immediately! SNOW: I guess we know where to go. They walk to the sign-up gate where they see Jamey. JAMEY: Good. Now let�s go in this building. Jamey opens a door to a large building that�s connected to the stadium. The door has a �Restricted� sign on it. They Axems, JKI and Jamey walk inside. They soon discover there�s only a whiteboard, a box with a hole in the top to stick your hand through, and a table, where the box sits. JAMEY: Before you start fighting, we must decide who fights who. Since there are only six of you, there will be too who will be seeded in a fight that goes directly towards the finals. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Whatever. Now who am I fighting! JAMEY: Geez, keep your shirt on. MIDNIGHT BLUE: What shirt? JAMEY: It�s a figure of speech. Now hold your horses. MIDNIGHT BLUE: What horses? JAMEY: Oh, forget it. In the box on the table are sheets of paper with the numbers 1-6 on them. Depending on which number you draw will decide which fight you go to. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Stand aside! I go first! Midnight Blue sticks his hand inside the box and reads the sheet of paper he took. MIDNIGHT BLUE: I got a three. Jamey writes Midnight Blue down for the second fight. Titanium goes next. He sticks his hand in as well. TITANIUM: This one says six. JAMEY: Lucky you. If you happen to win your first fight, you go to the finals. Jamey writes down Titanium�s name for the third fight. JKI goes after. JKI: I got a five! JAMEY: OK, that puts you in fight 3 with Axem Titanium! Cobalt goes next. COBALT: Mine says 1! Jamey writes Cobalt down for the first fight. Snow walks up to the box. He draws a four. JAMEY: Alright, that puts you in fight two against Midnight Blue. (thinking) Hey, that rhymes! Snow gulps as Midnight Blue puts on a sinister smile. The only one left is Strife. JAMEY: And it�s safe to say the only number left is two, so Strife is in the first fight against Cobalt. Jamey scribbles Strife down for the first fight on the whiteboard. JAMEY: And that means we have a full board of fighters! In the first fight, we have Axem Cobalt vs. Axem Strife! Second is Axem Midnight Blue against Axem Snow! The third fight, where the winner advances to the finals immediately, is JKI vs. Axem Titanium! COBALT: Question! Are there any rules we need to know? JAMEY: I�m glad you asked that, Cobalt. There are a few things you have to know. These fights will be on a levitating stadium, 6 feet above the ground. If you happen to lose all your HP, fall out of the ring, or say, �I give up.� During a fight, you�ll be declared the loser. SNOW: Yeah, we saw the Junior Division. JAMEY: Alright, I�ll go to the childish stuff. We do not want to see any outside tools you weren�t with on your day of birth, any poking in the eyes, and absolutely NO hitting below the belt. JKI: Aww�why�s that illegal? JAMEY: Er�it just is! Jamey puts on a nervous smile, which quickly changes to a frown. JAMEY: I wish I didn�t have to say this, but I�m forced to by orders of president Fast. Though it has only happened once, killing your opponent is strictly forbidden. Not only will your opponent will be knocked out, but you will also be disqualified from the tournament, and not to mention to be facing some jail time. Do I make myself clear? Midnight Blue grunts. JAMEY: Alright! Axems Cobalt and Strife, come with me. Everyone else, stay here and watch from the large windows to your right The windows weren�t large. They were huge, being able to fit two Bowser through at the same time. Cobalt and Strife follow Jamey to a metal door. JAMEY: Once you go through this door, walk towards the arena on opposite sides. They both nod. Jamey opens the door into a cheering corwd. As Cobalt and Strife approach the arena, Jamey grabs a microphone out of his pocket and flicks it on. JAMEY: It�s time to start the Adult Division! Let�s begin by giving a round of applause to Axems Cobalt and Strife! The crowd cheers wildly. Cobalt and Strife walk to their sides of the stone platform arena with their axes raised. JAMEY: Let�s go ahead and start the first match! The audience right now is uncontrollable from waiting. JAMEY: Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins AXEM COBALT: 710/710 AXEM STRIFE: 500/500 Strife dashes toward Cobalt at high speed to slash her. Cobalt barely dodges it. COBALT: (thinking) No way! That speed�s unreal! I can�t even see him! Strife keeps doing this and eventually hits Cobalt. Cobalt loses 60 HP AXEM COBALT: 650/710 AXEM STRIFE: 500/500 Strife dashes as Cobalt again. COBALT: It�s time to slow down, Strife. Cobalt covers the field with a Blue Mist. Axem Strife stops running, since Blue Mist paralyzes an enemy. Cobalt runs up and slashes Strife. Strife loses 50 HP. AXEM COBALT: 650/710 AXEM STRIFE: 450/500 Strife leaps high in the air, out of sight. COBALT: Hey! Can he do that? JAMEY: He can as long as he doesn�t land outside the ring. Cobalt looks up to try and spot Strife. Strife is falling behind Cobalt with his axe extended. He slashes Cobalt in the back as he lands. Cobalt loses 100 HP. AXEM COBALT: 550/710 AXEM STRIFE: 450/500 STRIFE: The Jump Axe. It never fails! And this doesn�t either. Strife uses a Quick Heal. He regains 50 HP. AXEM COBALT: 550/710 AXEM STRIFE: 500/500 COBALT: (thinking) Time for something new. Cobalt sticks out her hands and lets out a beam of light. Strife tries to dodge, but fails. Strife is engulfed in the light, but doesn�t lose any HP. JAMEY: Cobalt, what did that do? No HP was lost! COBALT: See for yourself. Strife is standing with his axe pointed at himself. COBALT: The Brain Drain! It makes Strife confused, and will even attack himself. Strife slashes himself twice and loses 100 HP. AXEM COBALT: 550/710 AXEM STRIFE: 400/500 Strife shakes his held repeatedly and breaks free of the confusion. Cobalt runs at Strife to slash him. Strife Shoots 20 feet to the left and Cobalt misses. STRIFE: Fool! Such a slow attack can�t hit me! COBALT: This can. Cobalt covers the field with another Blue Mist. Strife is covered with it and is paralyzed again. Cobalt runs up and starts spinning with her axe extended. She hits Strife will spinning and he loses 125 HP. AXEM COBALT: 550/710 AXEM STRIFE: 275/500 STRIFE: GRR�An Axe Tornado! COBALT: Yup. And I think I�ll use that combo again. Cobalt Blue Mists the field. This time, Strife sticks his axe out and spins like Cobalt did earlier. By doing this, Strife fanned away the particles of the Blue Mist, so he�s unaffected. STRIFE: And that way MY Axe Tornado! While Strife was walking, he used another Quick Heal. He regains 50 HP. AXEM COBALT: 550/710 AXEM STRIFE: 325/500 STRIFE: I think a quick change is to take place now. Strife touches his axe at the top of the handle. His axe starts to glow. Seconds later, Strife�s axe is no longer an axe, but a sword. STRIFE: With the Buster Sword, I�ll take even more HP away then usual! Strife runs up to Cobalt and swings the sword. Cobalt manages to dodge. COBALT: (thinking) Strange. The sword is much easier to dodge than the axe. This must be because the sword is heavier. Strife keeps swinging and hits Cobalt twice. She loses 150 HP. AXEM COBALT: 400/710 AXEM STRIFE: 325/500 COBALT: (still thinking) And if the sword is heavier than the axe, he won�t be able to do a Sword Tornado, which makes him vulnerable to a Blue Mist! Cobalt covers the field with a Blue Mist. Strife quickly uses another Axe Transformation to get his axe back. He starts another Axe Tornado and fans away the mist. STRIFE: Too bad. That didn�t work but these will. Strife runs pass Cobalt and shoots a bolt of energy at her. This is his Quick Shot. He also uses another Quick Heal. Cobalt loses 25 HP and Strife gains 50 HP. AXEM COBALT: 375/710 AXEM STRIFE: 375/500 COBALT: Man! What other fancy tricks do you have up your sleeve? STRIFE: That was the last one, and I must say, I never expected you to last this long. I also want to end this fast, so I challenge one of your Axe Tornadoes against one of mine. COBALT: Okay by me. They start up their Axe Tornadoes and slowly approach each other. When the two tornadoes joined in a clash of steel, Strife hits Cobalt twice and Cobalt hits Strife three times. Cobalt loses 100 HP and Strife loses 150 HP. AXEM COBALT: 275/710 AXEM STRIFE: 225/500 They keep spinning and the two tornadoes collide again. This time it goes in Strife�s favor. Strife hits Cobalt five times and Cobalt hits Strife four times. Cobalt loses 250 HP and Strife loses 200 HP. AXEM COBALT: 25/710 AXEM STRIFE: 25/500 Though they�re hurt, they keep spinning and are about to collide again. An amazed Jamey watches from the ringside. JAMEY: Oh! With so little HP, this match has come down to a classic, �Whoever hits first wins!� -------------------------------------------------- Who will win? Find out on the next episode! |
