| On the last episode: The first fight between Axems Cobalt and Strife raged on, and it has now come down to one single Axe Tornado. Whoever hits first is the victor, and advances to the semi finals! -------------------------------------------------- Cobalt and Strife spin toward each other. They collide with a loud CLANK. Both tornadoes slow down and eventually come to a halt. The audience sees one Axem standing and one on the ground, KO�ed. The one standing is none other than Axem Cobalt. AUDIENCE: (Roars with applause) JAMEY: She did it! Axem Cobalt has defeated Axem Strife! Jamey takes a Life Shroom out of his pocket and throws it at Axem Strife. It floats above him and restores 10 HP, thus reviving him. STRIFE: Ull� JAMEY: Too bad, Strife. Try again in the next four years. In the mean time, you may stay and watch from the contestants� building. STRIFE: Oh, all right. Strife runs back to the contestants� building. JAMEY: Axem Cobalt, you should also go and wait for your next fight. Also, do me a favor and tell Midnight Blue and Snow to come out when I announce them. Cobalt nods and follows Strife. JAMEY: And now for a brief, 5-minute intermission. Please use the restrooms at this time. -------------------------------------------------- Five minutes later� JAMEY: And now, let�s get to our next battle. It�s Axem Snow against Axem Midnight Blue! The metal door of the contestants building opens and the two Axems walk to the arena. The audience once again explodes in applause. Jamey looks at his wristwatch. JAMEY: (Thinking) Hm�11:30 P.M. I wonder if he�ll� MIDNIGHT BLUE: What are you waiting for! Hurry up and start the fight! JAMEY: Oh, of course! Midnight Blue looks at Snow. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Heh, ready to lose? SNOW: Nope. Ready to win. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Whatever. Just no whining, remember? Jamey raises his arms. JAMEY: Ready�FIGHT! -------------------------------------------------- The battle begins. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1600/1600 AXEM SNOW: 600/600 Midnight Blue takes the offensive and fires two Dark Spheres. Snow dodges both of them and throws a Snowball. MB slashes it and points his arms at Snow. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Black Lightning! A black lightning bolt falls from the sky to hit Snow. Snow dodges it, but the lightning hits the ground, blowing several pieces of stone in the air. Snow loses 10 HP from the flying rocks. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1600/1600 AXEM SNOW: 590/600 Snow lunges at Midnight Blue and slashes at him six times. Midnight Blue blocks the first one, dodges the second and third, jumps over the fourth, but gets hit by the last two. Midnight Blue loses 100 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1500/1600 AXEM SNOW: 590/600 Midnight Blue laughs. MIDNIGHT BLUE: I�m impressed, Snow! You actually dented my HP! SNOW: I�ve had enough of your mockery! Freeze Frame! Snow stares at Midnight Blue and is frozen in place for 10 seconds. Snow uses this time to power up and fire a Blizzard attack. Midnight Blue loses 200 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1300/1600 AXEM SNOW: 590/600 NOTE: BAD JOKE FROM OLD MOVIE COMING UP. SNOW: I am the wizard of blizzard! Snow starts to laugh at his own joke. MIDNIGHT BLUE: How lame� Snow stops laughing at the sight of Midnight Blue, powering up his Midnight Blue Beam. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Fire! It hits Snow. He loses 250 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1300/1600 AXEM SNOW: 340/600 Snow is dazed from the attack. Midnight Blue jumps forward and slashes Snow. Snow loses 90 HP, because Snow has a small resistance to physical attacks. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1300/1600 AXEM SNOW: 250/600 SNOW: (Thinking) I can�t beat him through attacks, so I�ll have to use a strategy. But first� Snow materializes an ice sphere. Midnight Blue gets ready to dodge. Snow hits himself with this. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Wha�What are you doing? Snow regains 150 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1300/1600 AXEM SNOW: 400/600 MIDNIGHT BLUE: But�how? SNOW: Easy. I absorb the element of Ice. If I hit myself with my ice attacks, it�s the same thing as healing. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Grr�Black Lightning attack! Snow blocks it with his axe and uses a Wind Chill. A cold gust of wind hits Midnight Blue. It sweeps him off the ground and he manages to land on the arena, face-flat. Midnight Blue loses 25 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1275/1600 AXEM SNOW: 400/600 Snow runs up and kicks Midnight Blue on the ground. Midnight Blue loses 20 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1255/1600 AXEM SNOW: 400/600 Midnight Blue jumps on his feet. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Wait a minute! Isn�t that illegal? He looks at Axem Fast FAST: Axem Fast says, �No.� Axem Fast prohibits eye poking and hitting�there, but not kicking on the ground. MIDNIGHT BLUE: (Thinking) Tch. Why I oughta see him in- JAMEY: Hello? Midnight Blue? You should know you�re still fighting. Snow is dashing at Midnight Blue. He slashes, but Midnight Blue blocks it with his axe. Midnight Blue swipes at Snow�s feet. Snow jumps over it, but is kicked in the face in mid-air. Snow falls inside the ring, but loses 20 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1255/1600 AXEM SNOW: 380/600 Snow gets up and throws a barrage of Snowballs. Midnight Blue cuts most of them in half, but gets hi by three. He loses 75 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1180/1600 AXEM SNOW: 380/600 MIDNIGHT BLUE: You�re good, but I�m better! SNOW: So? Snow uses another Freeze Frame. While Midnight Blue is frozen, he slashes Midnight Blue three times. Midnight Blue loses 150 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1030/1600 AXEM SNOW: 380/600 MIDNIGHT BLUE: Grr�It�s time I finished this with one simple attack. NOTE: ANOTHER OLD MOVIE JOKE SNOW: You lie! MIDNIGHT BLUE: (coldly) Do I? Midnight Blue extends both his arms. MIDNIGHT BLUE: It�s called the Midnight Blue Whirl. Hopefully, you won�t die from this�I want that title and wish. Snow gets ready to dodge. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Fool! This is impossible to dodge! Now here it goes! Midnight Blue fires the Midnight Blue Whirl, which is made up of many Dark Spheres. The sea of spheres swallows Snow. Snow loses only 150 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 1030/1600 AXEM SNOW: 230/600 Midnight Blue stops. MIDNIGHT BLUE: What the�How did you survive that!? That move can do 9999 damage! SNOW: Easy. While you were powering up, I wasn�t getting ready to dodge, I was making a thick wall of ice in front of me. Though it stopped most of the attack, it broke at the end. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Grr� Midnight Blue dashes at Snow. His rush suddenly stops and looks as if he ran into a brick wall. Midnight Blue loses 50 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 980/1600 AXEM SNOW: 230/600 He did run into a wall. It was another clear wall of ice. SNOW: Wow, you sure ran into that. Midnight Blue falls to the ground, dazed. Snow kicks him on the ground again and he loses 20 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 960/1600 AXEM SNOW: 230/600 SNOW: One more thing! Snow hits himself on the head with another ice sphere and recovers 150 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 960/1600 AXEM SNOW: 380/600 -------------------------------------------------- Jamey referees from the side. He checks his watch and reads 11:59. JAMEY: It�s almost time� -------------------------------------------------- Axem Midnight Blue dashes at Snow again with his axe raised. Snow throws snowballs to stop Midnight Blue. Midnight Blue destroys the snowballs with Dark Spheres and slashes Snow. Snow loses 90 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 960/1600 AXEM SNOW: 290/600 The image of Midnight Blue starts to flicker from visible to invisible. Midnight Blue looks up at the moon and grins. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Snow, it looks like I have the advantage now. SNOW: What this time? Midnight Blue laughs. MIDNIGHT BLUE: It looks like you don�t know my REAL power. SNOW: What? You were holding back? MIDNIGHT BLUE: But of course! And it�s time I destroyed you! Midnight Blue�s image stops flickering and he turns completely invisible. SNOW: (thinking) Oh no! With Midnight Blue invisible, I�m victim to his array of attacks! But how did he do that� -------------------------------------------------- Jamey looks at his watch again. It reads 12:00 midnight. JAMEY: (thinking) He actually stalled long enough to do it. Midnight Blue has the ability to turn invisible at midnight and keep it that way as long as he likes before daytime. Clever, quite clever. -------------------------------------------------- Snow looks around for any sign of Midnight Blue, but doesn�t find any. Midnight Blue comes up from behind and slashes Snow. Snow loses 90 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 960/1600 AXEM SNOW: 200/600 MIDNIGHT BLUE: Even though you can�t see me, you can still hear my voice. Snow listens carefully and throws a Snowball where it came from. It hits the ground instead. MIDNIGHT BLUE: I�d just want to tell you should give up. SNOW: Why this time? MIDNIGHT BLUE: Because I�m also using a move called Dark Power-up. It slowly restores my HP to the maximum, making you defenseless against me at full strength. MIDNIGHT BLUE regains 20 HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 980/1600 AXEM SNOW: 200/600 Snow laughs. SNOW: Time to foil your plans, Midnight Blue. Snow lifts both his arms. SNOW: SNOW SPRAY! A large blizzard with high winds starts, along with thousands of deadly snowflakes. Midnight Blue regains 20 HP, but loses it from the Snowflakes. On the other hand, Snow regains 20 HP from absorbing the Snowflakes. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 980/1600 AXEM SNOW: 220/600 MIDNIGHT BLUE: You jerk! SNOW: Look who�s talking. Oh, and by the way, my Snow Spray only stops on my command, so it�ll keep negating your Dark Power-up from now on. MIDNIGHT BLUE: That doesn�t matter. Now only do I have higher HP than you, but I�m still invisible! SNOW: You�re not as invisible as you think. Look what�s on you! Midnight Blue looks down on his body. MIDNIGHT BLUE: What the- Midnight Blue is covered with snow from the Snow Spray, making an outline of him. He perfectly stands out of the storm. Midnight Blue tries to brush the snow off, but as soon as he�s done, another layer covers him. MIDNIGHT BLUE: I-Impossible! Snow regains 20 more HP. AXEM MIDNIGHT BLUE: 980/1600 AXEM SNOW: 240/600 Snow looks at Midnight Blue, who�s having trouble fighting against the high winds of Snow Spray. SNOW: Snow Spray protects me from your cowardly assault, but nothing will protect you from� Snow extends his left arm and points the palm of his hand at Midnight Blue SNOW: �Wind Chill! Midnight Blue is carried away by the wind. A few seconds later, Midnight Blue lands, but the audience can�t see from all the snow covering the arena. Snow stops his Snow Spray and looks where Midnight Blue landed. Outside the ring. Jamey, warming up near a heat lamp, stares in awe. JAMEY: (into his microphone) The battle is over! Snow has defeated Midnight Blue in an upset victory! No one saw that coming! Jamey looks at Midnight Blue. JAMEY: Tough luck, Midnight Blue. You�re welcome to stay if you want. Midnight Blue growls and walks back to the contestant�s building. -------------------------------------------------- At the V.I.P. Seats� FAST: Axem Fast says, �Wow.� PEACH: I�m impressed as well! MARIO: Mama Mia! I eat-a the Mushroom now! Mario gobbles down a Super Shroom. -------------------------------------------------- JAMEY: Axem Snow advances to fight Cobalt in the second round. But before that, let�s start our next fight, JKI Vs. Axem Titanium! (To Snow) Tell JKI and Titanium to get our here, will ya? Snow nods and goes back to the contestant�s building. -------------------------------------------------- Back in the Contestant�s Building� Midnight Blue upturns the only table and snaps off the metal lags. MIDNIGHT BLUE: And that�s how I�ll destroy Snow next time! Everyone else watches terrified in a corner. TITANIUM: Maybe we should stop him. Midnight Blue throws the table throw the wall. COBALT: Or not. JKI: I have a plan. Let�s tie him up and put an apple in his mouth. STRIFE: Sounds good to me. But we�ll need him to hold still. COBALT: I�ll take care of that. Cobalt uses a Blue Mist while the others tie him up. Midnight Blue is recovers from being paralyzed a few seconds later. MIDNIGHT BLUE: Curse you! I�ll make sure I see you in- JKI puts the apple in his mouth. JKI: Language, mister. END OF EPISODE THREE |
