Pics from Andrea's wedding

One of my best friends, Andrea, got married on June 9th, 2001. Me, Jen and Nicki were all in the wedding party, they were bridesmaids and I was the maid of honor. :) It was fun to get all dressed up and act like we were princesses. So here are some of the pics from the wedding and other pics just from our trip. I'll be adding more once they get their film developed and Andrea gets the professional pictures back. =) Please be patient while the pics load. And most importantly, Congrats to Andrea and her sweetie Stan. I'm so happy for you both and I wish you the best of luck!

It takes a lot of preparation to be beautiful. :) Here is Jen and me starting to get ready for the wedding. You can't imagine how much stuff three girls can pile on to a hotel counter. We had more make up in there than most department store counters have. :)

Fast forward a bit, and we have the finalized product! This is me in the hotel room getting ready to head over to the ceremony. Those shoes are damn cute, but they hurt like a bitch after a few hours! :)

This is the entrance to the Bethwood, where the ceremony was held. It was so beautiful there! We actually walked there from our hotel, it wasn't far but I'm sure we looked a little goofy crossing the street in these gowns. =) This is me and Nicki.

LOL, Finally a picture of the Bride!! This is Andrea and her niece, Elise, who sang a song at the reception. She's adorable. In the background you can also see the lucky groom, Stan. I'm not quite sure what's up with the glowing eyes. :)

Andrea looks as though someone just told her that the baby was hers! =) Actually, that's her other niece, Sierra. On the far left is Andrea's brother, Jim, who is holding her nephew, Dylan. He's another cutie. :) The back belongs to her sister-in-law Carrie, and you can see half of Stan's face.

This is me and Andrea dancing. :) I had requested the DJ to dedicate a song to Andrea from her maid-of-honor, but he forgot to mention it when he played it. But it was funny cause when the song came on, Andrea launched herself out of her seat to grab me to dance. It's actually quite a feat if you can imagine how difficult it must've been to get anywhere quickly in that dress.

You can't have a wedding unless you have smeared cake, right? I couldn't squeeze my way through the crowd fast enough before Andrea was able to wipe hers off, but Stan still had his. :)

Jen and Nicki, the two lively bridesmaids. The others just refused to dance! LOL. Jen's pulling some sort of diva move here. :-)

Somehow I managed to catch the boquet, which is ironic if you consider that I never want to get married. So here I am awaiting Andrea's cousin Chris, who caught the garter and then got to place it on me. Keep going to see what happened. :)

The idea of a man on one knee in front of me just scares me, lol. But sure, I'll play along... How much harm can happen, right? Ha...

Yikes! How high up is that thing supposed to be going?? He got awfully close to somewhere he wasn't supposed to be. :) Thank goodness I was smart enough to wear matching underwear, that could've been embarassing!

But hey, I can still manage to be a good sport about things. :) Oh, and by the way, in the background on the right is Stan's brother and best man, Chuck. He was my partner for the evening. =)

This is me, Nicki and Jen. We're a touchy, toothy bunch, aren't we? :)

This is Jen and Carrie, Andrea's sister in law. Another person who apparantly likes to show off the teeth. :) Jen and Carrie bonded that night as Jen kept harassing her to get on the dance floor with us.

This is me and Nicki at dinner. She had a cool little rhinestone thingie on her arm. Me.... I just have lots of freckles. :P

I'm not sure who had the bright idea of bringing a microphone out on to the dance floor with a bunch of hyper girls. :) But they played "I will survive" and we just had to sing along at the top of our lungs. Believe it or not, we're not really falling over, I didn't really even drink that night!

Andrea, glowing happily (believe me, she only looks calm... She's was actually frantic!) prior to the ceremony.

Andrea & her nephew Dylan. Isn't he just an adorable little man in his spiffy suit?

Andrea & her niece, Elise, who doubled as the flower girl in the ceremony.
