Jess (Me) = J
Laura (Friend) = L
Johnny came up really close to me when he had finished the show. We were both looking at each other, with his present in-between us on the fence when I said:
J: "Hello" In a bit of a funny voice. I was just nervous.
JV: "Hello" Johnny replied in the same kind of voice.
Straight away I picked up the present and card and handed it to him saying,
J: "This is for you."
JV: Arms out stretched, he replied "Ahh, really? Did you know that it's my birthday on Sunday?"
J: "That�s what the present is for!" I answered.
JV: "Ahh, thankyou so much. Come here."
Johnny leaned over the fence and gave me a big hug while kissing my left cheek. I was so happy and could not believe that Johnny had kissed me. I didn't know what to say next but a man also at the fence called Johnny before I could carry on. He spoke to Johnny about a film idea that he had that Johnny might have been interested in. Just as the man was waiting for Johnny's reply, Johnny ran off behind the shed. The man turned and said to me:
Man: "There you go, I've lost him for you!"
I thought, Johnny better come back or I seriously hate that man!!! Johnny did come straight back though and said:
JV: "I wondered what that was!" looking out over the canal.
J: "What?" Also looking.
JV: I thought there was either someone in the canal or I just saw a fish vomit tin foil!" Johnny laughed and I did as well. He continued "I'm sure there's something in that canal! Now, where was I?"
The man had two cards with Johnny on them and asked if Johnny could sign them for his two daughters. Johnny shouted to the security man for a marker pen and happily signed the cards. Johnny had to spell out the people's names who he was signing for to make sure he had them right! Straight after Laura asked if she could have his autograph as well and he said:
JV: "Who's it to?"
L: "Laura"
JV: "What? L.A.U.R.A (Spelt out letters)?
L: "Yeah"
I gave him my pad and had a pen ready but he used the marker pen. He asked again:
JV: "Who's this one to?"
As I have a stammer Laura usually says some things for me that I can't say very well and so she said Jess for me.
JV: "J.E.S.S, yeah?"
J: "Yeah, that's me!"
I was about to watch Johnny sign my pad when he looked up and said:
JV: "Did you know, we were going to call our daughter that name?"
J: "Really?" I answered.
JV: "Yeah. It was either between Jessica or Tabitha. Sadly..... (paused) we didn't choose yours!" he said in a funny voice and laughed and I just replied:
J: "I know!" Johnny was about to sign the pad when he shouted to Ed (Executive Producer) as Ed was walking round the pool. He asked him to come over and they started chatting briefly about how the show went. I was going to take a photo of the two of them together but I thought it may have been rude of me. I don't remember much of their conversation but I remember them saying:
JV: "Good show I thought today. There was a real atmosphere in the house and with the crew!"
Ed "Yeah, definitely. It went well."
They carried on and Johnny ended by saying:
JV: "Yeah, sure. I'll see you at breakfast, yeah?"
Ed: "Yeah. See you down there!"
Johnny said goodbye to Ed and signed my pad. (See Photo!).
