J: "Would you mind if I took some photos of you, please?" and he happily replied,
JV: "Sure! Take as many as you like?"
I was about to stand back and take one when he said:
JV: "Don't you want to be in them?" Looking puzzeled.
J: "Um�Yeah!" I answered.
JV: "Come here then!" He asked the man if he could take photos and the man took the camera from me. I went up to Johnny and he put his arms around me. For a moment I started to think 'Do I put my arms around him or what?' I thought as he is a celebrity what if he doesn't like it but I put my arms around him away and we hugged! I said before the photo was taken:
J: "Thanks for this Johnny."
JV: And he replied, "That�s alright, mate!"
When he called me mate another happy, emotional feeling shot though me. Johnny called me mate! In my mind I still had the thought of 'OH MY GOD!!! I am standing next to Johnny Vaughan and he is hugging me!' I was still getting over the kiss and now he called me mate!
The man took the photo and said:
Man: "There you go" (See Photo!) Together Johnny and I said:
JV and I: "Take Two"
JV: "Safety one and all that" and another was taken. This time more relaxed. (See Photo - The Better One!)
Johnny then asked Laura if she would like her photo taken and she said yes. She walked up to him and Johnny suddenly asked:
JV: "Are you two friends or do you know each other?"
L: "Yeah!" Laura replied.
JV: "That�s alright then as if you weren't she (as in me - Jess!) would have your photos on her camera!"
Laura was not as forth coming with Johnny as I was as she put her arm round him but did not know what to do with her other arm as she did not think to hug him was really appropriate as she did not like him as much as me. I think Johnny knew that I was the bigger fan though and picked up Laura's arm and stretched their arms forward (Classic friendly pose for Johnny). In a second the two pictures were taken and I was handed back the camera. (See Photo!)
I wanted some photo's of Johnny on his own so I asked if that would be ok. Without hesitating, he said:
JV: "Sure. How do you want me?" Suddenly he starts doing different poses from a bulldog pose to a normal happy smile to a salute, which was when I happened to take the photo. (See Photo!)
The man at the fence started to talk to Johnny again quickly and I took two more photos as he was doing so. (See Photos!)
The man had walked off when I had finished and Johnny had to go. He said:
JV: "Right, I am going to have some breakfast. So I will see you guys later!" He picked up his card and present and was about to walk off when Laura remembered to ask:
L: "Oh Johnny, have you got any of those cards left?" I had told her that I had wanted one of the cards with Johnny on it for ages but by that time in the conversation I had forgotten all about asking. She asked Johnny and he happily offered to get one for us. He said:
JV: "Yeah sure. I'll just get you one." Johnny was about to run off to get one when the security man had one. "There you go." Handing it to me (See Photo!) "Now, I have to go. See ya"
Johnny was quickly walking off when I shouted:
J: Thanks Johnny! See ya." And he finally replied
JV: That�s alright mate, bye!"
And he was gone. The day was over but I have never forgotten it. My trip was rewarding as I got everything done that I went to do. I gave Johnny his card and present, got a hug and a kiss, managed to take many photos, received the card with Johnny on it that I have wanted for ages and had the privilege of being called mate!
I was so happy and walked off, leaving the house shaking. I just want to say thankyou to Liza but especially Johnny for being so nice and friendly towards my friend Laura and I and for also making my trip so worth while.
