SUMMARY:
A Demonic Warlock has in secret become more powerful than anyone ever imagined.
Problems, he wants to have control of the world and wants a mate. He sees Spike
and won't stop until he gets him [SLASH] AngelSpike
Outside
the club looks like an ordinary, gothic club for the public to have a good
time. Heavy metal music played constantly till the early hours of the morning
and the police visited constantly. People with all kinds of dark natures, human
and demon, came in to play.
Inside
is a different story. In a large, overly crowded room, where silk embroideries
hung across the walls and off the ceiling, sat a throne-like chair with many
other chairs, although not as special, surrounding the large table, which lay
in the middle of the room.
Sat
in that Throne was a being that held high amounts of power no one could compare
to. Loyal followers surrounded him; even though loyal the high being would
never trust them. Not with his life. Papers lay across the table, filling up
the vast space with his plans made out over various centuries. They had been
planning for too long to make one mistake; one mistake could destroy all hopes
they have to succeed in their plans.
Women
and men flirted with him constantly, hoping that they would catch his eye,
knowing that he was on the look out for someone to be beside him forever, rule
with him. If not immortal he would grant them immortality because he could give
them immortality. He could give them anything.
He
could give them everything.
WOLFRAM
AND HART, NIGHT:
Even
in the dark still of the night Wolfram and Hart still had employees working,
many of them being nocturnal creatures. Security was also another service that
ran constantly. Cameras surrounded the whole building, outside it, inside it
and even underground it. The building was very tight in security since it
contained texts that could cause all kinds of torment. Never in all the years
that Wolfram and Hart existed did they expect an attack.
"What's
that?" A man pointed at the screen of his mate's monitor. He looked closer
and saw what looked like a disoriented patch in the middle of the screen
outside Wolfram and Hart's main entrance.
"It
may just be something on the Camera lenses, I'll get Tyrone to check it
out" His mate said, getting out his walkie-talkie.
"Tyrone,
we have something unidentified on our monitors at camera M.E.253. Check it out
for us, it seems to be moving without leaving the camera so it may just be a
cobweb or something" The man spoke, watching in confusion as the blurred
area moved slightly.
"Making
my way over now Jake." The voice replied on the other end. Jake snorted
before turning to his friend.
"This
is the most action we'll probably ever have in this bloody dump. Nothing
interesting ever happens here" They both laughed at the truth in Jake's
words. Jake's laughing soon came to a halt as he glimpsed at his mate's monitor
as well as the others.
"Holy
Shit, Anthony have a look at your monitor! It's just like the rest of
them!" Anthony looked at his and everyone else's monitors. Just like Jake
and Anthony they were dumbfounded.
"Jake
there's nothing on the camera out here or in front of it. May be a technical
glitch or something. I'd check it out; never know what it-" Jake ran back
over to his monitor when he heard Tyrone get cut off.
"Tyrone
you there?" Jake asked frantically
"I
don't know what the hell is happening but something just touched my arm man,
and I ain't telling you no shit! Send someone down here man! I can hear things
but I ain't seeing them!" Tyrone shouted out. Jake watched the monitor as
Tyrone held his gun out at something that they couldn't see. Jake gestured to
Anthony to call for backup.
"We
need immediate assistance down at the main entrance. We are sending some of our
guys but we need more down there. Tyrone can't see anything but he sounds
freaked so I'd hurry" Jake watched the monitor as Anthony talk into the
walkie-talkie when something occurred to him. The blur had gone. He checked the
others and saw that the blurs had gone from them as well. He pondered this for
a while before deciding that it was too much of a coincidence to not take it
seriously.
"Call
Charles Gunn up here! If that was a technical problem then we are in shit, if it
wasn't then, well we're still in shit! We don't know what this means so call up
Wesley. W.Pryce as well!" Jake barked out sending everyone in frenzy. When
he looked back at the monitor he saw Tyrone shooting his gun at
nothing, which
worried Jake. His eyes widened as he saw Tyrone's body convulse then be lifted
into the air and thrown off screen. The blurred shape came back onto screen and
he quickly glanced at the other screens. They were normal which means that
whatever is on screen, there is several of them, maybe one at each camera. He
didn't know what was happening but he knew it was something bad. The blurred
figure moved off screen towards the entrance before it suddenly struck Jake.
"GET
ME THE CEO ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW!" Jake shouted just as the alarms went
off and all the windows in the security room shatter.
ANGEL
OFFICE:
At
his desk Angel sat with several contracts in front of him. He had been working
all night on trying to find out if the contracts were still valid, if they
carried on while you were dead, if you were tied to Wolfram and Hart and
several other things. He also had to make up new contracts since the employees
were demanding a dental plan. Angel sighed and rubbed his temples, this just
wasn't his day, he thought tiredly.
Just
as he thought those words the alarms went off in his head. Angel frowned, no
wait they were going off in the building. Angel's eyes widened, going off in
the building! That's never happened before!
The
windows in Angel's office shattered and as soon as they did Angel caught a
scent. It wasn't very clear, but it was there.
"Warlocks"
Angel growled about to charge out of his office, but the phone rang.
"Hello!"
Angel shouted over the constant ringing of the alarms.
"Mr.
Angel sir this is Jake Seige from the Security section. I don't know what's
happening but there were blurred figures on the monitors down here. From my
experience it either comes from magic trying to override the system or someone
using a cloaking spell. Our systems are highly sensitive so they react when the
slightest thing is out of order. I'm thinking it's a cloaking spell, it
explains the blur" Jake yelled back over the line.
"No
it's both of them. I'd say its either warlocks using cloaking spells or whoever
is using the cloaking spell have warlocks with them. I can definitely sense
warlocks. I'm going by your judgment on the cloaking spell. Get anyone who has
any knowledge of magic and also anyone who has magic and gather them together.
Find Wesley to do a spell that removes any cloaking spells within this
building. I want you to barricade all the automatic doors in the building and
put up the lasers! They get in they don't get back out. Seal the windows as
well since they are of no use!" Angel barked back over the screeching of
the alarms.
"Right
away sir!" Jake answered, hanging up.
"Oi
Peaches! What the bloody hell is going on?!" Spike shouted, covering his
ears as he ran into Angel's office.
"I'll
explain later! We have to get moving there are Warlocks in the building and we
need to find them!" Angel answered, running out the office.
"I
was wondering what that smell was" Spike muttered, following Angel.
The
man smirked at he flung the security guard's body up against the far wall.
Humans are so weak they can barely take the strain of their bones being crushed
together. It's
pathetic, the man sneered. He looked up at the camera and gave a
mock salute before walking up through the doors of the main entrance, setting off
the alarms just as everyone else with him smashed all the windows in the
building.
He
casually walked across the room, stopping for a second to quickly scan the
building with his power to see if everyone was in place. Feeling that everyone
was in place and still cloaked in his spell, he headed towards where all the
sacred enchantments, texts, spells, ingredients, among other things, were
protected.
He
smiled as he felt them trying to remove the spells that he had cloaked everyone
in. He humored them and telepathically told who was with him that he was
removing the spells to make it seem as though they had power over them. He told
everyone to head where the main group was as a distraction so he could get what
he needed as he removed the spells.
He
cackled ecstatically. Everything was going as planned.
