WE ARE EXPECTING!!

This is us!! We met October 1999. We eloped October 21, 2000. And we had a big wedding February 17, 2002 Kyle is in the US Navy and we are currently stationed at NAS Sigonella, Sicily, Italy.

OUR KIDS!! :-)

This is Sonny D. He's a pure bred beagle. He was born January 1, 2001 and we got him when he was 8 weeks old. He's a handful!!

This is Satori. He was born sometime in July of 1998. He is the ruler of the house!!

REMEMBERING OUR ANGEL

Kyle and I are lucky enough to have an angel who watches over us. In January of 2002, I found out I was pregnant with our first baby. On March 26, 2002 our angel left Earth for a bigger callling in Heaven.
While Kyle and I miss him/her everyday, we know in our hearts that angels belong in Heaven. Thank you for watching over us.

July 28, 2002 - I got my first very faint positive HPT. Could it really be???!!

July 29, 2002 -   Again another very faint HPT. Hopes are rising!!!

July 30, 2002 -   Yet another very faint HPT in the morning. We went to the hospital for a urine test. After a 2 hour wait, the resultes were negative. We were crushed!!

August 2, 2002 -   Still no period, so I gave in and tested again. No sooner had I taken the test did it turn positive. That's right, POSITIVE and a dark positive!! Hopes are rising again!! See test results.

August 4, 2002 - Gotta test one more time before I go back to the hospital for another urine test. Not only did this one show positive but it was even darker than the one 2 days ago!! Hopes are sky-high.

August 5, 2002 - Went back to the hospital for another urine test. We were terrified to call to get the results. We waited about 3 hours and then I called. I knew something was up when they automatically transferred me to an OB nurse. It's finally official!!!
WE ARE PREGNANT!!!

August 7, 2002 - Had mass check-in for OB We were given our list of do's and don'ts and prenatal vitamins along with a whole slew of blood work (yuck). Nurse estmiated my due date of 4/9/03. First OB appt August 15.

August 15, 2002 - Had my first OB appt. Everything went great. I am 6 weeks today. And the official due is April 10, 2003. We got to see and hear the baby's heartbeat, 120 bpm. Dr said that would increase as the baby grows Next appt Sept 17. See first ultrasound.

September 16, 2002 - Kyle came home early from work and surprised me with a bouquet of flowers. He's been great and so supportive. Every knows that his quirky ways always keep me smiling!!
