It's so rare that I find myself in this position because Jerry is so well liked everywhere.  I almost didn't post this because it was from 2002.  Who knows, maybe the guy has a better attitude nowbut then again, maybe not.  After all, he called himself stewj.

He almost sounded like he had a vested interest in ECW and WWF because he sounded kind of sarcastic talking about Jerry.  In fact he sounded kind of bitter.  I don't know who he is or why he attacked Jerry this way as he admitted that he didn't know anything about him but this is what he said:

Just in case you doubt that he said this I have posted the link to his comments but someone since this was posted has removed the page.  So I guess you can take my word for it or don't bother to go any further.

"There comes a time in every athletes life when they have to realize that they no longer have it and hang it up. I say this with one particular wrestler in mind Jerry Lynn. Everybody out there talks about how great this guy was and I will admit he was very good but he is not the wrestling Icon that everybody seems to be making him out to be.

I dont know his personal history or how he got started. To be perfectly honest I dont really care. I started watching Jerry Lynn when he was in ECW. He had some respectable feuds with Rob Van Dam but they rarely amounted to anymore than a spot fest. Jerry Lynn ran like a rat running from a sinking ship in the final days of ECW to the island in the sun that is the WWF. Vince Mcmahon took him in as he does with a lot of other talent. Did Vince have an idea for young Jerry Im sure that he did. It appears however that Jerry fell short of expectations and Vince and company decided to let him go. So now we have everybody and their mother screaming foul and sour grapes because Vince kicked him to the curb. Vince Mcmahon has a talent pool of over 200 wrestlers to choose from. I am sure his reasoning was justified in letting him go. Get over it, move on, Jerry according to Vince did not have it. Is it a shame? To some maybe .to me I dont really care because Jerry Lynn made no impact or impression on me."

This from a guy who was enamored with a cardboard cutout of Hogan!  Read on.

"Hogan- Doing what he use to do before he left the WWF the promo with the cardboard cut out was one of the best I have seen out of him ever. Anybody that is able to build heat for an upcoming match that doesnt have to play off of the reaction of the other wrestler involved is tops in my book. Hogan is once again proving why he is a pillar in this industry."
