What exactly is The Game?


The game is a first-person-mech-shooter that features devistating weapons, intense gameplay, and nail-biting action. You take charge of your team of runners in the tournament known as The Game. Fight your way up the ranks in a 15 game season to have the right to compete in the final showdown and stake your claim for wealth, glory, and what's left of the world.

BackStory-
Time: The not too distant future; The conclusion to WWIII.
After the great war to dwarf all wars came to an end, the entire planet of Earth was a shell of its former vision of civilization. The planet was in ruins. All governments ceased to function and anarchy was the only thing that regulated the planet. Only a handful of companies survived. With no one left with any true power, the entire planet was up for grabs. Seven of the largest remaining corporations sought to take control of the planet for themselves. The result was a stalemate between the few. The largest of the seven, a computer company that shall remain nameless, proposed that a tournament should decide control over what remained. All did agree, and they decided on a new, underground, gladitorial sport that sprung up after the war. The sport was groups of soldiers who used their mechs from the war to wage battle on one another if nothing more but for greed, for glory, and a piece of the tarnished planet. Each company sponsored a team and staged a tournament for the spectacle simply known as The Game.

You were found in the wastelands of the planet after the war, but you have no recollection of who you are and where you came from. But what you do know is that for some reason, you are at home in the runner's seat of a mech, and a badass behind a gun. You're a born fighter. The large computer company inlists you as their team leader by promising to help you reclaim your memory with their technology, only if you've served your purpose. With no where else to turn, you accept, and now you fight for your life in the game.


What is my objective?


Your primary objective is to take control of your mech and wage devestation on everyone in your way. You will compete in a 15 game season and try to make your way to the finals where you battle for supremacy. During your journey, you will acquire cash rewards for your victories, use it to buy new weapons, as well as upgrade your mech. Use what resources you have to last the entire season and prove your supremacy.


What features make this game unique and worth playing?


The brilliant combinations that you equip your mech with determine how you play the game. Not all weapons are potent and it takes not just force, but reflexes, research, tactile ability and complete understanding of your weapons to work your way to the top. With over 10 different types of weapons (missile, artilary, mines, grenades, and UBER weapons), 3 different mech models, and each of which with it's own special pluses, each combination you take into battle will either make or destroy you in the ranks.
