Welcome to Jeremy Green’s personal website. This site is intended to provide a brief introduction to Jeremy Green. Jeremy is married to Ruth Schamroth. They live in Muswell Hill and have two children, Louis and Lexei. Jeremy and Ruth lived in Sydney, Australia from 1990 to 1992. The whole family has dual Australian and British citizenship. Jeremy has worked in telecommunications for over fifteen years. He now works at Ovum, an independent analyst and consulting firm specialising in telecommunications, IT and digital media. Jeremy is an associate of ICT and Climate Change, a social enterprise focused on how the ICT and telecoms industry can help prevent and mitigate global warming. Jeremy went to school in Ilford, Essex. He graduated in Psychology from Sussex University in 1979, and received an MSc (1981) and then a PhD (1983) from Manchester University’s Department of Science and Technology Policy. In the last few years Jeremy has belatedly begun to learn music. He plays the trumpet in Annie Whitehead's Workshop Band. He likes most kinds of music, but has a special soft spot for World and folk music, especially Eastern European folk and Klezmer. Jeremy was an active member of the Labour Party for most of the period 1977-2002. He has since joined the Green Party.
