Another thing, the Balcarthian Pantheon is closer to the Greek, Roman, Norse, etc. pantheons than any seen in mass today. The status of god is the highest status possible and all of the gods exist only because people think they do. Thus is the power of the sentient mind.
Geographically speaking, Balcarth is slightly larger than Earth, and has three satellites. The land is all centered on the equator and anything beyond 50 or 60 miles off land is unexplored.
The Five Swords are artifacts from the last planetary war between the Elves and Dwarfs, amply named the Elf-Dwarf War. After the War, five swords were created to honor five legendary heroes. At one point or another all of the Swords have been lost.
Normally, these sword would mean little, but they have been inicstricably bound with The Pheonix Prophecies. It is said that the reunion of the five swords will bring the Coming of the Pheonix.
