B'dian and Ogrith

The young man you see outside B'dians weyr does not look like B'dian, but by the way he is seated, leaning against Ogrith, there is no way it could be anyone else. This young man has neatly trimmed fire-red hair, and bright green eyes. His appearance is neat and clean, and Ogrith is well groomed. Both are enjoying the sunset.

Ogrith

"B'dian?" you question as you approach the handsome pair.

"Didn't recognize me did you?" he accuses, as he absently strokes Ogrith's eye ridges.

"Actually... no." you admit not knowing quite what to say. It's such a drastic difference from scruffy, long haired boy you met ages ago.

"Ogrith's been quite an influence on me. It's all her doing, but I'm starting to like the new haircut."

"He needed it. His face is much better without all that messy hair covering his eyes."

Leave it to a dragon to speak the truth.

"Did you know Ogrith is full grown now? We get to join the wings. Of course, she is going to chew firestone. There's no question about that. I'm not carrying a flamethrower!"
