So, like, webdate 0414.02

One should always remember when and if they are single, that most of the time, they should stay away from a couples event.
Especially, if they are big hearted, poor bastards like me.

The school had it's Prom yesterday, at which i helped set up, chaperone, and clean up.  The couples kinda placed me in that "lonely mood" as i call it.

But, on the other hand, it was fun to see "my kids"  ( I consider em all my kids... i just to get to send em home) all dressed up.

Most of the dresses were elegant and conservative, which is a change from the normal clothing that some of the young ladies wear at the school.

The gents all dressed up in different tuxes, ranging in color and styles.  Down to the top hat and a cane for some of them.

I have to say the dancing has changed abit.  Doesn't seem like they move around alot.  Just the ol bump and grind with the girl in the front and guy behind her.

I think maybe they should make swing dancing mandatory in the 7th and 8th grades.  Teach the kids how to move around a lil when dancing.  Now wouldn't that be a hoot.

Besides my own moodiness... it was a wonderful evening to see the kids i'm close too all dressed up and looking fantastic.

I'm not sure what's gotten into me, but i've found myself looking for a saxophone to compliment my cheap ass guitar.  It's also another instrument that i've wanted to learn.  I was gonna try in when i was younger, but i got stuck with the trumpet (which i've also been looking at) because too many folks had sax's.  Unlike my guitar though, it's going to find a sax within my cheap ass budget.  If i keep on with this way of thinking.  My place is going to be a musical museum.

It's the big screw, that could only mean one thing... tax day is pretty near.  Tomorrow in fact.

For the first time in my life, I'm filing the day before.  Normally i have them done in Feburary and sent off.  Blah... so I know what I'm doing later today.  My luck, I'll end up oweing this year.  heh.

I should keep all my money till the end of the year.  Earn interest.  Now that'd be the smart thing to do.
Let's see... there are nine leaves on my plant.  They could be my dependents.
