I. TEAM FRANCHISES:

The league will have several teams consisting of National and American League players. There will be one to four divisions depending on how many fantasy teams are in the league.  There will be a $30 franchise fee per team.  This fee will be paid back according to Awards section.  There will also be a charge for the commissioner service we decide to use.  This amount will be divided between the fantasy owners equally.

II. TEAM ROSTERS:

Each team's active roster MUST consist of the following sixteen players:

6 pitchers
1 catcher
1 first baseman,
1 second baseman
1 third baseman
1 shortstop
3 outfielders
2 additional non pitching players.

III. LEAGUE PLAY:
The fantasy baseball season will last 21 weeks which will include the regular season and fantasy playoffs.  Standings will be determined on the basis of win-loss percentages.  Play-off ties will be determined by total Scoring Points for the year, higher rank.  Every time one of your 16 players steps on the field, he will be playing for you.  Your team's win-loss record for each Stat Week will be calculated on your players’ actual performances in the following nine categories:

PITCHERS: Wins, Saves, ERA, & Strikeouts
BATTERS: Runs, Homeruns, RBI, Stolen bases, & Batting Average

This does not include stats from pitchers batting or hitters pitching. Your record for each stat week will be calculated on your team's combined statistics during that week only.

IV. WAIVING PLAYERS:
You may release any player from your roster during the season provided you place a valid claim on a player in the Free Agent Pool. All roster changes will become effective at the start of each week’s play. If two or more teams place a claim on the same free agent, the team with the lowest winning percentage will have rights to that player. For this reason, you should place two, three, or more claims (in order of preference) to fill one vacated roster spot. Each owner may claim up to 2 players per stat week.  There will be two rounds of the waiver draft.  Waiver order will be determined by last week’s standings with the lowest winning percentage picking first in both rounds.  Waivers must be turned in by 10:00 P.M. on Sunday.

V. RESERVING PLAYERS:
Any player on your roster is eligible to be placed on your team's reserve list. Each team may have up to 5 players on their reserve list.  Players on your reserve list will not count toward your totals for the stat week.  You will need to set your lineup 5 minutes before the first game on Monday.  (The time to set your lineup will be determined by the league commissioner service we use.)

VI. TRADES:
All trades need not be approved, but must come before the commissioner to be reviewed for any rule violations. Once a trade is made the player(s) involved may not be traded back to their previous team. All rosters must remain at the required amount of players.  No trades can be made after week 18.  Players traded may be put on your reserve list as soon as you get them.  You do not have to play them the first week.  The Commissioner must approve all trades. Trades made and approved 5 minutes before the start of the first game on Monday will take affect on Monday. Anything after that will become effective the following Monday.

VII. POSITION ELIGIBILITY:
Players are eligible to play the position listed by the commissioner service we use.  After a player has played 5 games at a new position a player will become eligible at that position.

VIII. THE GAME:
Your team's win-loss record for each stat week will be calculated on your player’s actual performances. Each stat week will be one week long starting on Monday and going through Sunday. You can win or lose or tie a total of 9 games.

The next section contains the award payback chart of prize money based on a nine team league.  Should there be more or less teams, this chart will be adjusted by the commissioner to reflect the adjustment in revenue.
