Welcome to the site. Spanghoppers is a Danish amateur band playing mostly Irish music, as well as a number of self-composed songs. Our members change with time, but at present include Anne, Frederik, Jens (the original trio), Jeroen (from Holland), and Madeleine (from Sweden). Other musicians have been known to join us - see the Editorial page for more information on all of us (including pictures)!

The band has actually led a "quiet life" lately (hence the gray background!), mainly due to Jens' newest project, his daughter. However, we still manage to squeeze in the occasional get-together.

Getting sound samples on the website is turning out to be a longer process that we thought - mainly since we seldom get around to actually recording anything. For now, all we can offer is a large, and ever-growing collection of sheet music.
