| Dec 14, 2004 Short update, Things are good.Got a cookie exchange that I'm hosting here at my house on Thursday, then on Saturday I decided to have an open house. Where people just come over for a visit, I have invited about 15 people.So needless to say, I have 8 dozen cookies to make, I was going to make sugar, they're my favorite ones, but I have more stuff home for chocolate chip cookies. I was in Edmonton this past weekend, and kelly lara and I went to a bra store..man oh man...we got "sized" and then bought some bras..HOLY SHIT is all I can say.the cheapeset I bought was $139.99!!! THAT'S NUTS! Oh well, I better not buy a new one for YEARS! HA Other than that, heading to the store soon, gotta get it all cleaned up and re organized. I'm really enjoying havin the store...although somedays I wish I could just stay home. Catch 22 I guess. Anyway I'm out, I better get my crap together and head out. LATES PEOPLE! November 29, 2004 WOW..it's been almost a month since I updated my Journal! THAT SUCKS! Oh well. Things are gonig well here at the store, I won't become a millionaire, but I can have my kids with me until they all are in school, and I'm outta my house with more of an identity than just MOM or JEN, WHAT'S FOR SUPPER! How did the moms in the olden days do it? I'm glad I'm not part of those days. My friend Mike went down and was at the Green Bay Packers game last night. Packers won, I hope that he had a blast...he's the biggest Packers fan you'll EVER meet! So that is cool that he got to be there. He had a big sign made up, I didn't see him on TV tho :( that sucked. Can't wait till he gets back to hear about it. My birthday, well that's another story in itself. My friend Kelly and her hubby, and me and steve went out for my birthday on the Saturday before, man oh man...what a time we had. I was at the point I HAD to go home..not want or just let's go..I NEEDED to be home. WHEEW. Can you belive Christmas is all but 26 days away!! HOLY SMOKES!!!! how exciting! I can't wait the presents are bought I have to have a wrapping night, maybe I'll have Kelly come over one night, me and her will get together with some wine and wrap presents..hmmm that sounds like fun! Kelly and I have been going to the gym pretty regularly. And I have to say, it feels good to be back at the gym regularly. I just hope it pays off. I have been debatin on one other thing. We never buy anything for ourselves. I have been thinking we need to buy a sled. But then I think and i think Kelly bought a bike this summer, I'd LOVE to have a bike. THAT would be Cool. Anyway, outta room, chat later. Keep in touch! :) November 1, 2004 Well well well,,,looky looky what month we are in!!! We are in November, which just so happens to be my favorite month of all times, MAY have something to do with the fact that it's only 13 days till my birthday! WOO HOO. Let's see where to start, I broke my glasses today..grr, I wish I had 3 grand lying around, to get my eyes done. Just imagine getting up and seeing the world clear! WOO HOO..that would ROCK. I start my new hours on Monday, next monday, which are going to be Tues-Sat. Mondays are so slow, I don't think it's worth being open. It'll also give me a chance to get my house cleaning done, and we all knows how much of that I have! I hate cleaning, more that that I hate laundry, 3 kids, me and steve, thats a shitload of laundry. What else can I tell you. Went out to the bar this weekend for a halloween party, I went as a can of lysol..lol... there was a guy there who went as Hal Johnson, and for those of you who don't konw who that is, watch TV, and see BODYBREAK ads..LOL..WAYYYYY TOOOOO FUNNY! Who thinks of going out to something like that! there was a teenage wearwolf...and there was a whole bunch of 80's chicks, cowgirls, and let me tell you they were all pretty trampy! lol Nicole had a great costume that's for sure..she was an 80's chick, she reminded me of desperatly seeking susan that 80's show. Anyway...I guess I shuld get back to work, even tho it's really dead! But I'll talk toy ou later :) October 19, 2004 Well Friends and family night was a GREAT success! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! I love having my store! What else can I tell you, I've got so much on my mind, I have to maker sure Anyway, I have to figure out a way to get my online store up and running. I need to get a digital cam for the store, a nice one, well nothing too fancy, enough to get some pics of my kids in the clothes, and enough to keep things running smooth. I SOOOOO BADLY want to have a building where my home is. I mean cut down on rent etc...you know how it is.. Anyway, I have to update the front of my page here, so I'll chat at ya later :) BE COOL! October 13, 2004 Man, things sure are going quickly these last couple of months! I mean, my store has been open for 44days. I am really enjoying having my own business. It's a lot of work, but well worth it. I just hope that my advertising is doing what is should be. It's been a little bit slow, and I'm a worry wart at the best of times so that doesn't help. Kids are great...winter is on its way, took the trampoline down last week. I've been doing a lot of travelling actually. Just got back from Edmonton and Kananaskis..(is that the right spelling) Tracy got married, her and andre. It was AWESOME! She looked so good, and Andre looked good. I picked her brother up from the airport, and drove him in with me. Lucky for me that Andre's brother Brad stuck it out cuz he drove me or lead the way down to the hotel that Tracy was staying at. The wedding was outside, and in the background there were mountains, a stream( down below). Out our balcony, there was a Deer and her baby grazing, man it's nice just to sit back and watch. I have to say it was so peaceful, and it was so relaxing..probably just what I needed! Got all the buying for the spring summer done, I can't WAIT for spring summer to come! It's going to be so awesome, with the stuff that I have picked out for the store. I also picked up a little bit of maternity wear, not a lot, but some. So I'm pretty excited about that...well not for me, but the mom to be's! LOL Anyway, things are so busy, Im trying to remember to update this journal! I have to get Cindy to help me make my journal accessable thru the first page...make it a little easeir for me to SEE that I NEED to update it! EMAIL ME October 3, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TORI, and WELCOME KEENAN CRAIG PARSONS, (Jim and Teri) and JUSTIN (Tori's new baby brother, and MJ AND STEVES new baby) Man, I went up and saw Justin last night, dropped off some quality Mini Me products...boy that baby is little..CUTE. You know they always say that you forget how little the babies are when they are born..and I have to say, it's true. I never thought you could forget, but those first few days of thier lives, is absolutly amazing. They are so little, and so helpless...How someone could hurt a baby is beyond me. Just looking at Justin, made me remember all the little things about my own kids. But I feel like I didn't get a chance to really enjoy my kids as babies...ahh this is where Grandkids come in the picture I guess. Enjoy them??!! What am I talking about! Anyway, Store is going great, I love having my own business, so far so good. Heading down to Edmonton on Tuesday, Tracy's wedding is on Friday the 8th...so that should be good... but I'm being beckoned, so I better go...I'll write more later...ta ta September 24, 2004 Well, it sure has been a long time since I updated my journal! WHOA. I have been pretty busy with the store, it's going AWESOME! I have to say that I am really enjoying being my own boss! The boys come here when I"m working if Steve is working. They are PRETTY good, MOST of the time..keep in mind that other part of the time tho! So I just got back from Winnipeg yesterday, I had a good time while I was there. I went down to do some buying, and it's pretty cool. I have some good suppliers. They treated me really well while I was down..I guess that's their job tho!
