Standing On My Own
an online chapbook by J. Anne Allphin
J.Anne Allphin has been featured as reader at the Jambalya Club in Arcata, Ca. (which, sadly has closed it's doors as an infamously dark, smoldering, hole-in-wall jazz and poetry venue but continues in it's current incarnation as a brightly lit resturant...hence, no more poets...). Her works have been heard on KHSU and she has participated in College of the Redwoods 'Arts and Humanties Live!' as well as serving as a student judge and participant in College of the Redwoods running series 'Poets and Writers'. She has also participated and judged in the Northcost Writers Poetry Jam. Please join her through her explorations of passion, dysfunctional relationships, parenthood, hope, and healing.
