Fourth Grade's Fabulous Finds
Final Project
Today you will visit one of the three sites below to compose a rap or another kind of poem (or you may try all three!).  When you have finished and I have checked it, you may print your composition and add a beat with the beat machine.

Have fun!

         Rap Realm

On June 11th, your class will be participating in an environmental performance with the other 3rd, 4th, and 6th graders.  Your class's job is to create a segment on why it is important to keep our beaches clean.  Below are some links you can use to research beach and ocean pollution:
Ideas for keeping the beach clean--who can turn this into a rap?
Here's an ocean extravaganza!  I see some super song ideas.

Ocean pages made just for you...can someone turn this list into a skit? Simile Satellite
Remember last week's sites...don't forget you have them as a resource!
Once you have found information you want, you may write a song, a rap, a poem, or a skit.  Remember you want to teach your audience how to take care of our oceans.  Talk to me if you want to know how to take text from the internet and move it into a Word document!  Don't forget all your song-writing resources from earlier this year!

    Whale Songs
People aren't the only ones who love to sing.  Listen to these whale songs to get you in the mood for whale-watching.  Also, let them inspire you to do your part to keep our oceans clean!
