i got paid! i'm totaly serious! i finaly got my paycheck! i have money! or, rather, i have a slip of paper with faint print of it that i can hand to my bank and they will give me money for it! woo! woo! woo!
heh. anyway. but yeah. that's cool. i'm saving half the money for the latter half of the month. i'm paying back some of a loan. i'm buying a $20 cd walkman since the other broke. well, i did drop it on the floor. and i'm seeing creepy voiced brittany murphy in that don't say a word movie. 'i'll never tee-eeell!' .. oo.
but before i do any of that, i wanna say happy belated birthday to my dear friend gene. he got older yesterday. and he still found time to send me nice encouraging e-mails in response to me sending my whiny "i'm still sick and miserable" e-mails. gene is awesome at any age. i miss him. :)
yeah. what else non-me can i talk about. oh. it's become obvious that me and angela were really, really impacted by giovanni ribisis characters' sub plot on that movie . he was really, really good. that subplot was really, really intense and interesting. i'm annoyed even that they didn't make his subplot the mainplot, because the mainplot wasn't very interesting and lacked the disturbed intensity of his character.
heh. do you care? do you? no. i know. it's okay. to be honest, i'm just sort of amazed that i care. i mean,it's not much, but it's something to hang onto and be encouraged by. i think.
anyway. me and three others are reading a book called Honky, by Dalton Conley. it's a memoir about him being a white boy growing up in NYC projects around mostly black/latino kids. after we finish reading, we'll have a taped discussion and then we'll print a transcript in our paper. genius, eh? and to think i suggested it because i dreaded having to actually write a review. hee hee. whatever. interesting book.
okay i go. i got checks to cash. bye. 1:19 p.m.
