To Jennifer's Page
Well, after all the time spent working on pages for the kids - I thought that I deserved one too!  So here it is!!! There will be more here as time goes on - links, a few pictures, some book recomendations and the like.  Thanks for coming!

Jennifer
Earlier this year we were excited to learn that we were expecting our third child.  Unfortunately we lost the baby on April, 19 when I was 3 months pregnant.  It was a hard time - but we are happy to have the two beautiful children that God has blessed us with.  Maybe sometime we will be lucky enough to have another.  I have put together a small page for our angel baby with a poem as well as some links to miscarriage support groups and sites that helped me during this time.  Click on the link button below to visit.  Thanks!  And if you are going through a similar experience know that it DOES get better.
The only thing I do more than waste time on the computer is to read.  I love to read and always have.  I'm a member of a book group and so this section will highlight that book as well as some of my other "recent reads" and long-time favorites.
This is a fabulous book that I just finished reading.  Like the title says - it is the memoirs of an traditiona Geisha in Japan.  It is fiction, and is an amazing story that draws you in.  It also contains a fair amount of history, but you don't realize it as you are reading.  I really couldn't put it down.
Where the Heart Is was our Book Club (affectionately known as "Literary Ladies") selection for our June meeting. We pretty much all agreed that this book was enjoyable to read and a quick read - but not everyone could decide if they actually LIKED the book.  Some of the characters were rather quirky.  But worth the read I think.
A few summers ago I was lucky enough to meet some of my best friends - whom I had never met before.  These are 4/5 of the remaining members of a Prodigy Bulletin Board - Babies Born July 1996.  We met in Chicago for a weekend and had a BLAST!  I hope we can do it again someday!  I'm the second from the right.

ParentsPlace has a wealth of parenting and pregnancy information.  Also fabulous bulletin boards.  This is where I found my Pregnancy Loss board and a whole bunch of new friends.
