This page was started when I was still pregnant - and I can't bring myself to delete it or start over. So the beginning of it stays - though it is no longer true. Our child lives on in my heart. On one of my miscarriage support bulletin boards someone posted a poem:

In a baby castle beyond my eye my baby plays with toys money cannot buy
Whom am I to wish her back into this world of strife?
No, play on baby, you have eternal life.
At night when all is silent, and sleep forsakes my eyes,
I hear tiny foootsteps come to my side.
Her hand caresses me, so tender and sweet.
I say a prayer, close my eyes, and kiss her in my sleep.
Now I have a treasure that I rate above all other -
I have now true peace - I am still her mother.
