Well my weekend in Sydney
was just fantastic. It was great to see Mum and my brother &
sister again.
It was my Mums birthday
on Sunday (that's why I went down) she didn't know I was coming, so it
was a great surprise for her.
She was in Port Macquarie
visiting with her Mum, so I caught the bus to there. When I arrived,
she was still in bed, and I walked into her room. She just went:
"Shit, it's Jen" then burst into tears.
We left Port at about 8:30am,
and drove back to Sydney.
My brother didn't know I
was coming either, so he got a great surprise.
My little sister was the
only who knew and did THE BEST job at keeping it a secret for me.
THANKS BECK, I LOVE YOU!!!
The weekend was good food wise, and yes, my Mum and little sister are now also following the plan with me, but not going to meetings.
And yep, I didn't go tonight either, but I checked my weight on the scales at the gym and still the same. I seem to have reached a plateau. Oh well, as long as I stay the same, I don't care how long it takes to get this weight off, as long as it eventually comes off.
On the plane back to Brisbane, they fed me mudcake! I put mine in my bag and brought it home for my dogs. They loved it! (As I knew they would!)
I have decided not to go back to WW for a while. I was going to stop come week 20 anyway, so I am just a few weeks early, but I think I can do it alone, and I am going to try. My Mum & Sister are going it alone, and they call me all the time .... "How many points in this Jen?" "What can I eat for dinner tonight Jen?" That keeps me going!
I will weigh in at the gym on Mondays now, they have scales there, but unfortunately, only take weight in 1 kilo lots, so I will never know if I only lose 0.3 or something from now on, but that's ok, and I will put an order in for a set of digital scales for my Birthday.
The Olympic Games start on Friday, I'm looking forward to watching it on the TV. I imagine the next few weeks will be Olympic Fever everywhere you go!
See you next week.
