Week Eighteen

Monday, September 18th 2000

Like I said, I'll weigh myself at the gym every Monday until I either get myself a set of scales for home, or until I go back to my WW meetings.

The scales at the gym read 103 kilos today, so if I take the fact that I was 103.8 at my last WW meeting, I've lost another 0.8 kilos.  That's great, and I've been a little off track lately.  I had stopped tracking, but have fixed that starting today as I have designed myself a spreadsheet to keep track of my daily food intake.
I am determined to keep going on my own with this, as most of the best support I am getting is from this web site anyway.

Tomorrow I have my first fitness assessment at the gym.  Apparently they will take my weight and fitness levels etc and put together a plan for me.  As my first priority is to lose more weight, I have asked them to put this plan together based on fat burning.  As I get slimmer, I will get another one done to include some toning (I don't want to end up a ball of flab!!)

I'm going to give this URL to my little sister tonight.  I can't believe that no one in my family or circle of friends has seen this yet.  I guess that's because I have been kidding myself for so long that there was no way I could be more than 100 kilos.  Now that I am nearing that hurdle of becoming under 100 kilos, I don't seem to mind anymore if they know what I started out at.
Plus, hopefully this journal will keep my little sister on track!  (Keep it up Beckie)

I think I am fairly on track of making 102 kilos before the end of September.  Only another kilo to go, and I have 12 days in which to do it.  I'll be trying extra hard during the olympics!  I've made a deal with a weight loss email group I am in to stick to my points religiously every day of the games!  So far so good, and hopefully I keep the gym up as well at least 3 times a week.

Have a great week everyone.
