Week Nine

It's lucky I have decided to get back on track this week.  If I continued going the way I was, it would take me forever to lose my 50 kilos.  The scales registered a Huuuuuuuuge loss of 0.2 kilos tonight.  Oh well, like my fiancee says, at least it is a loss.
I was talking with one of the girls from work, and she has also decided to not organise another night out for at least a month!  That agrees perfectly with me.
I have a brand new goal.... I am flying to Sydney on October 12th for my little brothers 18th, and my little sisters 17th.  I want to be 100 kilos by then.  That means I have to lose 9.5 kilos over the next 3 months.  I would say that is an achievable goal, and I am on my way.  I have totally stuck to my points per day since Monday.  I can't wait for the weekend either, I have an exercise weekend planned (housework, walking etc)  Gosh, I can't believe I actually said that!
I also plan to update the site with some more recipes and get some e-mails out to all the wonderful people who have joined my mailing list.  What motivation this site has given me.  All these strangers who sign my guestbook, or join my mailing list to get behind me and encourage me on my journey.  It's just too hard to put words to how it makes you feel.  I definitelly encourage anyone who is trying to lose weight to put a site together... amazingly, it's not that hard, and it's the best thing (in my opinion) to keep you on track.  I seem to have a group of followers now who check my progress every week, and if I don't have my Tuesday night results posted by some time Saturday, I get e-mails asking if I'm ok, and what's going on!  I love it!  Thanks soooooo much, keep the motivation coming.

See you all on the weekend!

Today makes 2 months that I've been at WW.  I took my measurements again this morning and am pleased to note that I have lost a total of 21cm in the last 2 months.  It was interesting to note that even though I didn't lose a lot of weight this last month, I still lost a few centimetres.  It must be my body shape shifting!
I have been on track all this week, and wasn't tempted at all to go out on Friday night.  I need to lose a few more kilos over the next couple of weeks to keep me going.  I don't want to slow down so soon into the program, so I am practicing my "No thank you's!"

I have just put a huuuuuge pot of vegetable soup on, so I will fill up on that over the next few days to keep my points down.  I tried a lovely vegetable risotto from the week 8 booklet last night as well, so I will get around to posting that on the site soon.

I went for a one hour walk with the dogs yesterday morning.  That was good.  I took Jazzmyn first, for 30 minutes, then came home and collected Saasha and took her out for 30 minutes.  I would love to be able to take them both at the same time, but they are little ratbags and I can't control them both.  Hopefully I can eventually get my fiancee out on the walks with me so that both dogs can come.  When I make one of them stay at home, she sits at the front door crying until we get back!

I'm actually looking forward to Tuesday nights weigh in.  I am sure I should lose at least 0.5 kilos, which takes me to 109 and my daily points total will drop from 24 to 23.  That will be a goal achieved.  Check back next week to see how I go!
