Drahz Hold
Garan, another permanent guardian.
Louroa, one of the Wher Cavern's permanent guardians.
You tell Cahdra you'd like to visit the Wher Caverns.  She wrinkles her nose a bit but takes you there anyway.  Inside the dark place you are met by two watch-whers, a green and a brown.  They appear to be guarding the entrance from unwanted intruders.
What do you do here humans? challenges the first.  Though you're very surprised that they can speak, your guide seems unimpressed.
"We're here to see Eshelina," she replies.  "Take us to her."
The whers confer among themselves for a moment, then the brown nods and growls,
Follow me, Lady of the Hold. He leads you through some passages deep beneath the hold and you begin to wonder just how deep they are.  Eventually you're led to a room lit dimly by a muted glow, held in the hand
Eshelina gives you the ghost of a smile.
of a strange-looking woman.  Her hair frizzes out behind her, blue/gray except for several white streaks like jagged bolts of lightning.  Her midnight-blue eyes and cranberry lips look very vivid against her pale, almost white skin.  She's dressed in a long, flowing white skirt and a large-sleeved top clasped by a golden brooch.  When the wher announces your presence she gives you the ghost of a smile and glides over.
"Greetings Cahdra," she says in an eerily soft voice.  "I see Louroa and Garan admitted you.  Not surprising since you are the Lord and Lady Holder's daughter.  Who is your companion?"  You quickly introduce yourself to this unusual person and she nods.  "Yes, I see.  You wish to look around.  Well, please feel free.  I'll trust Cahdra to help you explore.  I currently have buisness to attend to, if you'll excuse me."  She bows slightly and walks through another tunnel.  Garan looks at you for a long moment before returning to his post at the entrance.
"Come on," says Cahdra quietly.  "She left us the glow so let's use it before it burns out."  You ask why she left it.  "She has incredible night vision from living down here so long.  Those big blue eyes of hers are better than a cat's in the darkness.  I think the only reason she brought a glow in the first place was because she was expecting us.  Creepy, huh?"  You nod and begin exploring.
Once you've walked through some of the longer passages, you come upon several portals being guarded by a young watch-wher, little more than a hatchling.
