Drahz Hold

    A short-haired woman in a stunning red gown greets you as you step through the portal, her stormy gray eyes kind and welcoming. You assume that she's the Lady of Drahz Hold and make a low bow of respect.
     "Oh, come now," she says laughingly. "There's no need for all that. I can see you guessed that I'm Lady Marahna. If Taria let you through the portal, the you must be a friend. Please, come with me and I'll show you around." You accept her offer and follow her into the Great Hall. It looked as if it were being decorated for a gather.
     "Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday," she explained. "We're throwing her a big party and the Hall is being decorated in preparation." You nod. Just then, a little green flit glided over to Marahna and perched on her shoulder. She smiles and pets it, earning a low hum of pleasure.
     "This is my little angel, Jouni. She was given to me from Dawn Sisters Weyr along with my husband's bronze Mihkin.

Would you like to meet him?" You eagerly agree and she guides you from the hall through a long, twisting hallway. At the end is an office. Seated behind the desk is a man of about fourty turns, Lord Trousten. Sunning on a ledge above his head is a bronze fire lizard, presumably Mihkin. When he looks up and sees you, he stands up and extends his hand in greeting.

"Hello visitor, you arrived at a good time. I take it you've been to the Great Hall? Well then, you can see that we are going to have a big celebration. If you cannot stay, at least you can go and visit our daughter. She's

usually out and about the countryside, but we've kept her here for the party. She knows this hold and the surrounding areas better than anyone else. Perhaps she could take you where you need to go. Check the courtyard."
You thank him and head out to the courtyard. Stopping a passing drudge, you learn that she's over by the gate with her blue fire lizard.
