Freithan's Stall
Entry One: Two sevendays ago I was asked to do an impossible project, or at least everyone else thought it was impossible.  I, however, was up to the challenge.  Even thought it zapped my strength quite a bit, it was worth every minute of it.  Now my fame will spread and I will be even better known than I was before.  Whenever someone enters the Great Hall of Lord Tremanish's Hold and looks up at it's beautifully crafted windows, they'll know who made them.  Such recognition will be wonderful.
Also, an unexpected bonus was the Impression of my second fire lizard, a bronze.  I've called him Gremanish, Gremmy for short, naming him after the Lord from whom I received him.  Lex is planning on teaching him everything he can, being a sort of mentor.  It should be interesting to watch unfold.
Oh, I must go.  I can feel Gremmy stirring and, unless I want to be shrieked at, I'd better hurry to him with some food.  I will write later.

Entry Two: I've just discovered something.  Gremmy has about the clumsiest flight I've ever seen.  Even for a hatchling it's awful.  Still, I encourage him to practice regularly.  He's bound to succeed...one of these days.
Also, he doesn't have a very good short term memory.  He can remember the moment of his hatching, but he can't recall which tool is which.  Poor Lex is at his wits end.  It's very difficult for him to teach Gremmy, but he's not giving up.  He believes in him, just like I do.  Although it might not show through right now, that little bronze clutz is very intelligent and can send me pictures with the clarity of a queen's.  So, despite his lack of grace or remembrance, he will go far.  I know he will.

Entry Three: Today an unlikely event occured.  I was Searched out for the clutch at Andromeda Weyr.  And not just any clutch, but a white's clutch.  I've heard that there's a white egg in it too.  At least, that's what everyone says.  I wonder if it's true.
Anyway, Lex and Gremmy love it at the Weyr.  There are many other fire lizards to socialize with, something they'd been lacking at Xenotek Mines.  Also, I think my patience is finally starting to pay off.  Gremmy's flying is starting to improve greatly.  By the time of the hatching, he'll probably be fairly good at it.  Well, I cannot write for long.  Today is the first day I get to view the eggs on the Sands.  I can hardly wait!

Entry Four: The eggs were even more beautiful than I'd imagined.  All the swirling colors and subtle patterns gave them an otherworldly appearance that I found strangely appealing.  They were all grouped together on the Sands, the very hot Sands.  No one could tell them appart, but I knew which one I would study.  I could just feel a connection.  It was very strange and several of the other candidates, most younger than me, laughed when I told them.  But I still believe that there's a connection, don't ask me why.
Anyway, Gremmy's maturing very quickly.  He's eyeing up the female flits strangely and I think he'd like to participate in one of their flights soon.  Shards, but he's getting so good with his flying, he probably could, and win too.  He flies around upside down and tail fork first.  He's trying to master his flips and rolls, but he's still having a bit of trouble with them.  Oh well, he'll get it eventually.

Entry Five: This has been the most wonderful day of my life.  I've just Impressed my beautiful white Alhajath and the feeling of it, the knowing that I'll never again be alone, is indescribable.  And so is Jewel (my nickname for her). Her flawless hide gleams with all colors imaginable, gold and blue and lavender and silver, just like a milky moonstone. I could never have anticipated her wanting me as her bondmate with so many other people to choose from.  But would you like to know the strangest fact of all?  She hatched from the very egg that I had felt linked to when I first approached the Sands.
Gremmy and Lex feel my joy and are just as happy as I am.  They said to me, in images if not in words, that they would do anything they could to help me with her.  The dears.  Oh, I'm feeling too mushy right now, I need some sleep.  She was so hungry and wanting of attention that it all but drained me.  Still, it seemed as if all of Pern rejoiced with me.  The day was all but perfect, just like my beloved Jewel.

Entry Six: At last I've finished my surprise for Jewel, with much help on the parts of Lex and Gremmy.  It's a beautiful moonstone necklace, durable enough not to be broken easily.  I hope she likes it, since it certainly took long enough to carve and set.  But still, seeing her happy face will be well worth it.  I must go and give it to her soon.
Just as a side note, I think my little beauty's taken a liking to Freithan.  Even though he's very wary of her, she likes to come with me sometimes when I visit him.  At the rate he's getting used to her, he'll have no problem when she's an adult.  That'll be a nice change from some of the reactions of the other runners.

Entry Seven: This was the day of Jewel's first flight and it went...smashingly.  She slammed her snout into the ground so hard that it could be heard from the other side of the bowl.  The poor thing was so embarassed, especially since all of her clutchmates were watching, and their riders too.  Gremmy was a big help then, since he used to just as bad, if not worse.  He told her to look at him now, that if she kept at it, she'd be better than him some day.
