NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION

The first step in setting up pet sitting in your home is to schedule a free, no-obligation pet care consultation. The consultation will give us the chance to meet and to create a file on your pet(s) and home. I will answer any questions you may have, obtain detailed information about caring for your pets and your home, confirm pet care dates and times, and arrange for home access (a set of two keys required). At the consultation, it will be necessary for you to provide veterinary contact information, phone numbers where you can be reached while away, and detailed information about your pets. Some basic paperwork will need to be filled out: House & Pet Profile Form and Standard Service Contract Form. Payment must be received before service is to be provided. A $25 fee will be required for all bounced checks.

RATES AND SERVICES

Pet-Sitting Services:
One visit/day: $10- 1 pet, $3- per each additional pet
(fee's may vary slightly by the type and quanity of pets)
A visit consists of 20-30 minutes of pet care between the hours 7A - 10P to include the following: Feeding, replenishing water supply, washing pet dishes, giving treats (if requested), playtime / potty time in the yard for dogs, playtime inside for cats, ferrets, etc. (as tolerated), lots of loving attention for all pets, clean-up of indoor pet messes including litter boxes (a small fee may apply if excessive), giving medications, brushing/combing, general companionship and a walk (additional fee) if requested.

Each additional visit/day (4 visits max.):$7
Additional visits consist of general companionship, medicine, bathroom and feeding time.

Night Visit: A visit between the hours of 10P - 5A is $10 in addition to regular visit fees.

Holiday services: $5 in addition to regular visit fees.

Dog Walking: $5/walk

Emergency Calls: $13
Did something come up that you can't get home and the animals need to be cared for unexpectedly? Use the emergency call service and feel at ease!

House Sitting Service: $10/day
House Sitting Services consist of bringing in mail/newspapers/packages, watering indoor plants, putting out a standard amount of trash on trash day, turning on/off home alarm systems, turning on/off lights inside and outside the home, opening/closing shades or blinds, checking inside the home for anything unusual, or by request adjusting the a/c or heat, flushing toilets / running faucets as needed.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:
In order to provide the best service for you, your pet and others, we have established the following policies.

Payment:
Payments for walking or sitting services are to be paid in full at the time of booking or on our first day service begins. I accept all major credit cards, check or cash. If you are interested in using a credit card, please set up an account with Paypal (this is a secure site) at www.paypal.com or click on the link provided in the right hand column. Please leave tips in pet sitters name or cash.

Cancellations:
24 Hour notice is requested please!

Holidays - Payments and Cancellations:
The following days are subject to the additional holiday fee of $5/visit: Easter, 4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Animals Safe At Home was created to help pet owners have worry-free time away from their pets. I feel it is imperative to the health of a pet to have as little stress as possible -- what better way to ensure that than to allow your pet to be home sweet home! I have been a pet owner for all of my adult life and wouldn't have it any other way because I have a true place in my heart for all animals. I've also worked many long hours during my 6 years of work at Beaumont Hospital, not to mention my time away on vacations, and know what it's like to have to worry about the care of my pet in the meantime. When you use the services of ASAH, you'll worry no more! In addition to my love for animals, I also have furthered my education to allow me to better care for them. I am certified in massage therapy and have spent time focusing on techniques in animal massage as well as learning pet first aid through the American Red Cross. With that, it is my mission to make sure that my customers have no worries, knowing that their pets are receiving the very best of care while they are away.
