| 1965 All American 30 ft, 11 in Semi-custom made in Wilmington, CA by Hank McCune. (maker of the Yorktown & Victory) You won't find a better boat for the price... well designed, great engine, everything in working order, hull cleaned monthly. I got this boat last spring and have done some work: engine, upholstery, sanding & varnishing... The boat is in good working order, comfortable & clean. It is very easy to handle. It can be yours to sail this spring and summer or for weekend trips over to Catalina... PRICE REDUCED to reflect some expected investments/enhancements outlined below. Keel: Bulbus--at bottom of keel a large teardrop, with most of wieght. This serves to hold the boat upright in heavy winds. Basics: Diesel, Volvo Penta with 32 hp; Fuel tank capacity ~ 12 gallons. Hull: Fiberglass Beam: 8.0 Draft: 3.0 Electronics: minimal: marine radio, mechanical compass (new owner will likely need to invest something in this area.) Fuel Cell: solid, stainless steel, located aft Speed: Crusing speed roughly 6 knots under crusing power. CONDITION: Good needs some minor work. Deserves more love & attention than I am able to give. Structurally this is a great boat... with an excellent engine, Volvo Penta, which runs well and had a major service spring of '03, perhaps ~10 engine hours since. Features & Equipment: Danforth anchor, 2 spar spinnaker poles, full 120 Genoa mainsail, sails in good condition, new interior cushions, bilge pump, teak, holly floors, BWI tinted windows (these do NOT open), teak fiddles, reskinned mahongany, ash headliner/sideboards, hull recently cleaned ... sleeps 5 comfortably, 100 ft chain, 400 ft of rope, solid fuel cell (aft stainless steel), manual for engine and a few extra parts for next tune up, solid superstructure, propane stove, barbecue at stern, new moorings, great family boat, good racing boat, or live aboard plus more.... . 12 volt system plus converter for shore power. Steers with a Tiller, not a wheel. Needs: 1. suugest new carpeting in V-berth and head, currently no carpeting in the head.. or a serious cleaning of v-berth carpeting 2. New coat of bottom paint expected cost ~$800 ; sometime in near future new coat of top paint ~ $250 - $450 -- THESE ARE HIGH END ESTIMATES... (I know someone who can arrange this at a significantly lower cost --and am happy to refer..) 3. Perhaps new cushions for exterior --this is a minor need and purely costmetic. 4. New bulb light on masthead, problem either electrical or just a bulb, minor issue 5. May need new rigging in the next year or so... definitely in working order however a likely upcoming investment.
