| 8/29/05 - So I have talked to Patrick this morning and let him know what the doctor said, so now I can let all of you know!! IT'S A GIRL!!!!! That's what the doctor says anyway... Sorry this is short, but I wanted to let you all know. 8/25/05 - Well, so far Patrick has been doing fine. He misses being here of course, but he likes being able to do what he has been trained to do. I spent the past few days in Utah. It was a nice trip. I was glad to be able to spend time with family. Monday is the big day! I will be posting on this site whether baby is going to be a boy or girl as soon as I tell Patrick. Nothing else is really going on right now. I will tell you more of how Patrick is doing next update. 8/5/05 - Here we are, close to the time when Patrick will leave the US. We are not looking forward to our separation, but we know it will only be for a short time. Our last doctor appointment went very well. The baby's heartbeat was at 150. It was exciting to see the little baby again! I finally got around to making a new page with the ultrasound pictures on it. Feel free to take a look. We've made the appointment! August 24th is when we will find out if baby will be a girl or a boy. We are very anxious to find out! Patrick's sister Steffanie will be visiting Ohio next week! She should arrive on Thursday and will be here to keep me company (and of course to spend time with William, Laurie and Gwenavere!) in the beginning while Patrick is gone. That's all here. We'll keep you updated as to how Patrick is doing as he is away. 07/25/05 - We are looking for a new place to live. Our boss is going to be purchasing a home and we are going to rent it from him. We're excited that we will be living in a house when we add our little baby to our family! I had the opportunity to attend Youth Conference this past weekend. It took place at Denison University, about 30 minutes from where we are. The stakes planned it to be set up like EFY. It was extremely hot on those two days that we were there. The dorm rooms did not have air conditioning and with my pregnancy, I had a really hard time with the heat. I ended up going home to sleep. We did not have any young men from our ward attend, but there were four young women, and they had fun. We have our next doctor appointment this Thursday! We're hoping to set up the next one before Patrick leaves. Hopefully we'll be able to find out if baby is a boy or a girl before he leaves!! We're going to be taking a trip to Columbus Zoo on Saturday. We'll be going with Patrick's brother and sister-in-law, William and Laurie, and their daughter Gwenavere. It will be a fun day. We don't have much else planned before Patrick leaves. We'll keep you all posted! 07/15/05 - We did not end up taking our trip out to Pennsylvania and Virginia fourth of July weekend. We ended up staying here in Columbus and celebrating with friends and family. We went to Red, White and Boom, downtown Columbus and had a lot of fun. We have a lot of things coming up. I will be going to Youth Conference next weekend. We only have a few girls going, but it will still be a lot of fun. Patrick's sister Steffanie will be coming to visit Columbus when Patrick leaves. I'm excited to have the company! That is the only thing that will keep me sane while Patrick is gone - company! I am going to go to Evansville and visit some old friends one weekend, and an old friend will be coming to visit me one weekend as well. I think that will keep me busy. Plus, the Young Women are in charge of a ward activity in September, so planning and executing that will help keep me busy. We are still working on finding out if we will need to move while Patrick is gone or not. We just realized that we will find out the sex of the baby while Patrick is gone. I will have a hard time keeping it from all of you until Patrick finds out!! Nothing much else is going on in our lives right now. Our next doctor appointment is in a little under two weeks. I will most likely be posting ultrasound pictures when I get the chance. Keep your eyes open for a new page! |
