6/22/05 - We are getting ready for our busy upcoming few weeks.  Patrick and I are going to Toledo this coming weekend.  Patrick is in the process of registering for school! We are both very excited about that.  He'll be starting at the end of October.  Next week is going to be busy.  We have a doctor's appointment on the 30th.  We should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat! Excited about that! Next Friday we are going to Philadelphia for a few days and then down to DC for the 4th of July!  This will be one of our last big trips until a while after the baby is born.  It's going to be a long drive, but we're excited.

5/31/05 - We had such a great time on our trip to Utah! It was a very busy, very eventful weekend, but it was great to be there.  With our news (I'm pregnant!) it will most likely be a year and a half before we are able to get back there again.  With my due date the first week of January, there is no way we'll be able to make the trek to Utah for the Christmas holidays.
Patrick just got a new calling as the eleven year old scout leader.  He's very excited about that!  He doesn't have any scouts yet, but there are two boys in the ward that have birthdays in July.

5/20/05 - We are finally mostly settled into our apartment in Ohio.  We are enjoying the area we live in. We will be looking into renting a house nearby as soon as our lease is up in October.  Patrick will be back from the Middle East for three days before we have to move! Hopefully I will be able to prepare everything before he returns home.
Patrick has been busy with work, the Air National Guard, and his computer.   :)    I have been busy with my calling in the Young Women.  I have really been enjoying it. We just got a new secretary, which is very exciting because for the past four months, it has just been my counselors and I. Girls' camp is approaching!! The exciting week will be in the middle of June, and now that I am no longer planning on being a flight attendant, I will be able to attend some of it!
Patrick and I just returned from our weekend trip to Washington, D.C. We really enjoyed seeing the sites and visiting with friends and family.  Patrick and I were able to visit most of the monuments (we did not go up the Washington Monument, since we only had one day to see everything).  We even got the chance to see the new World War II Monument.  Patrick's favorite was the FDR Monument.  We went through the Air and Space Museum, the American History Museum, and the Natural History Museum. Quite the full day! We drove over to the Washington Temple Sunday morning before church.  It was great to see that beautiful temple!
Patrick and I are planning a trip to Utah at the end of May.  We will be there for 4 and a half days.  The trip is rapidly approaching and we are both very excited!!
