Jemnards Faith Foundation, Incorporated is a non-profit and private volunteer organization is founded by the late Marina Daguna Nartates. An active member of Evangelical Churches, and a successful businesswoman who owns several real estate properties in prime location of Metro Manila, Philippines. Because of her desire to uplift the lives of the poor filipinos. She opened a livelihood Training Center offering FREE Tuition on the following Courses: 1. Dressmaking/Tailoring 2. Computer Typing Lesson 3. Beauty Culture/Hair Science And also initiated a weekly Medical/Dental Mission in the depressed areas. And likewise a regular Feeding Program with the support of FHI International. In recognition, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, a government-monitoring agency awarded a license to Jemnards Faith Foundation, Inc. to operate as a Family and Community Welfare Agency last October 15, 1991 with license no.: FCW-151 and had been accredited last October 17, 1995. Unfortunately in July of 1997, the founder passed away due to her illness she is suffering even before she started this foundation and the operation lie low for several years and about to die naturally. But because of the desire of the remaining board of trustees Arthur Nartates and in memory of the late founder, we are resuming our operation by offering new and more advance and in demand courses to uplift the lives of the poorest of the poor, such as: 1. Computer Programming 2. Web Development using HTML 3. Computer Technician 4. Internet Literacy |

JEMNARDS Faith Foundation Incorporated (JFFI) was founded by the late Marina Daguna Nartates in 1987. She was an active member of Evangelical Churches and a successful career woman who owns several real estate properties in the prime location of Metro Manila, Philippines. The hard lives of the poor touched her heart and because of her desire to uplift the lives many poor Filipinos, she established this Foundation which she named after her children; Josephine, Evangeline, Maximo jr.,MaryAnn, Norma, ARthur, David and Susan. She started In 1987 by opening a Livelihood Training Center offering free Tuition Fees on the following courses; 1) Dressmaking/Tailoring, 2) Computer Typing Lessons and 3) Beauty Culture/Hair Science. She also initiated a weekly Medical and Dental Mission in the depressed areas of Quezon City and a regular Feeding Program every Saturday in Commonwealth Avenue with the support of FHI International. One of the most successful programs is the Educational Assistance Program wherein beneficiaries have sponsoring friend abroad. They met with other beneficiaries in the Center for spiritual fellowship/sharing time and capacity building. Many beneficiaries are now College graduates and successful in their chosen career. In recognition, The Department of Social Welfare and Development, a government monitoring agency issued a license to JFFI to operate as a Family and Community Welfare agency last Octobes 15, 1991 with license no.: FCW-151 and had been accredited last October 17, 1995. Unfortunately in July of 1997, the Founder Marina D. Nartates passed away (due to her illnesss she is suffering as earky as 1987 ) and the operations of JFFI lie low for several years. And the dreams and missions are about to DIE NATURALLY. BUT In order to preserve what Mrs. Marina Daguna Nartates had started and in memory of her generous legacy, the Board of trustees initiated by His son Arthur D. Nartates decided to resume the operation of JFFI thrusting in the development of most especially the members of the poorest of the poor Filipino Families and Communities. |
