ROS GRIMSHAW & PATRICK COSTELOE

Master Glass Artist & Craftsman

In 1996 Rosalind Grimshaw and Patrick Costeloe set up a stained glass studio. They both trained and worked at Joseph Bell & Son (founded in 1848) until it was sadly closed in 1996. This studio was the second oldest stained glass studio in the country, its ownership being held by two families; Joseph Bell and his Son Fred, before it was taken over by Arnold Robinson and his son Geoffrey. Arnold Robinson and his work partner Edward Woore trained and worked with the greatest exponent of the Arts and Crafts stained glass movement, Christopher Whall. Ros And Patrick consider themselves to be continuing in the tradition of The Arts & Crafts Movement.
