Hi my name is Jan and I would like to welcome you to our website. God has blessed me with many talents, one being art. From the time I was very young my art gave me a place to go when I was afraid, sad, hurt or rejoicing. My art helped me get through some tuff times, specially after my divorce and when I was going through a period of deep depression. When I couldn't express how I felt I could draw. I also wrote poetry, several of which have been published, but I get the most pleasure from my art work.
The painting above is a 6' x 8' mural on canvas I did for my church vacation bible school it is one of my favorite because I used my son David who is now 25 and my friend Millie's daughter Karin for the children with Jesus. I will be adding more of my art, paintings, crafts, and writing, and I pray God will use it to bless you in some way,
I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Art in 1996 and was prepairing to start work on my masters in Art therapy when I was in a bad accident and was not able to finish. When things like this happen we can't help but ask God why and after much prayer I just said, "okay God you have brought me this far and I know you are not going to leave me now. so if this door has been closed then you will open another" and so I started doing websites and formed a company I called, "WebFoot Weaver" and to give back some of what God has given me, I volunteer a portion of my time and services to non-profit organizations and churches by doing their websites for them at no charge. |
