Isn't he just the cutest!? And for all you guys, you just wish you were as cute as him. ^.* I'm gonna get killed for saying that, oh well. MungoJerrie is a cute energetic kitten. In most production's he is just a kitten, well a very hyper one, who flirts with many queens, Jemima in particular. In the video they make him seem older than Rumpleteazer when he's actually younger...but I love Drew Varley and think he did an outstanding job as MungoJerrie. I just wish I could see him live one day, ::Sighs::, that'll never happen. Whelp, Jerrie is mostly known for his business with Macavity, and his cheeky song with Rumpleteazer. When people refer to his business with Macavity they also include Rumpleteazer, but I don't beleive she works for Macavity, just MungoJerrie. Most productions of MungoJerrie he is a built tom, with red, orange, and yellow cross hatching, with mostly black fur. In one particular production, he was just all one plain color, and that color was yellow. Mungojerrie's importance in the tribe is always overlooked, but if he didn't exsist(aka original broadway when Coricopat play him as like a puppet show) who would we be able to laugh at? I mean really,...him and Rumpleteazer are sort of like the comedy relief with the tensions always high with Macavity around. He is also of grave importance, for he was the next cat to face off with Macavity, once Alonzo went down, he didn't last long(Since he is still young) but, he's not afraid of his father, errrr.....Macavity.
Rumpleteazer is quite the mischeivious cat herself. She is very playful and cheeky. In some show's she is one of Tugger's groupies, and in most cases his most devoted, of course, Tugger's most devoted groupie depends on what production your watching, sometimes it Rumpleteazer, usually Etcetra or Electra(Perhaps both), and in some case Jemima is(when she is, she is even more devoted than Etcetra was on the video). In the original, Rumpleteazer wasn't even a character, but now she has got her character, and is now one of the most popular among fans as well. In the original, Etcetra played Rumpleteazer, but in my opinion, I am glad that Rumpleteazer became her own character. There's always a feeling that she might very well be a tad older than MungoJerrie.(In most productions, it's easy to tell Mungojerrie is the younger of the two) But in some they create Rumpleteazer to be the youngest. In any case, Rumpleteazer is basically they same colors throughout the world. She is mostly white, with yellow, black and orange stripes down her sides. In one production she looked alot like Jemima, and Jemima looked alot like her, as if they switched costumes. In another production she was yellow and red, with Tiger stripes. She is very important to the tribe, even though she didn't start off as her own character. Without her the tribe wouldn't be the same, she is kind of like the comedy releif, during the show while Macavity tensions are in the air.
Macavity is the hidden paw, or is more famous name napolean of crime. He's probably the most serious of the cats, and in my opinion the most demanding. I mean come on, the actor who usually plays Macavity dances the mating dance with either Victoria, or Demeter. And has to lift them, on top of dancing. Then when he quickly changes into Macavity, he has to fight with Munkustrap and lift him( actors who play Munkustrap usually tend to be very built), and he has to lift Alonzo, or when Alonzo is playing Macavity he would have to lift usually plato, or Tumblebrutus(both have to be built). Now that's quite demanding in stregth and I'm suprised they don't have to switch his role just as often as Mistofelee's. Just as well, he is definately the same stricking red cat with usually a white bib. Now, in some productions he is dances with the girls during his song, and has been seen hitting on Dem(of course), Bomb(who wouldn't), and tends to REALLY flirt with Jemima as well(Wow). In some productions, Demeter potrays that she is a bit lonely and misses him, while in others Macavity reminds me alot of Bombalurina and has got alot of sex appeal. In my definition, Macavity is seen maybe only 5 mintues tops, and by golly is the most important character, or in the top. He's the protagonist of the story and in a sense, Macavity gives the story plot. And that's most important.
