Plato/Bryn Walters: He is a unnoticed cat for the most part. Which angers me, for Plato is really a cute young tom, with just the right stuff. His role might not be big to your eyes, but backstage he is the busiest, and well most active I guess. If you think about it, he's got a demanding role, he usually is the one who mates with Victoria, and also is usually the one playing Macavity, and as I have already said Macavity's role is very demanding. Plato for the most part is never noticed by many, and for the most part, he does have a small part. He is usually seen when he mates with Victoria, or have their duet in the middle of the jellicle ball. Of course, it depends on what production you're watching, in some production's Tumblebrutus is the lucky tom, not Plato. In some other productions, Alonzo and Demeter dance the mating dance together! ^.^ But, that still shouldn't lessen his role. In most productions he looks the same white with brown stripes and a rusty red in his head peice. But In some other productions he's more brown with white stripes and black and brown patches over his eyes. His role is very important and most of the time is over looked. For the most part if you are a heavy Victoria fan, or just like Victoria, than you should be a fan of Plato or just like him for that. For even though most fans like to put Victoria with Mistofelee's or Tumble, there is definately something going on between Victoria and Plato as well, that as I have said before is always overlooked or not important to some eyes. |

Tumblebrutus/Fergus Logan: Tumblebrutus is one hyper-active kitty. He is not seen in many eyes, but the fans who do see him, fell in love. Is it his curiousity and overwhelming energy? Or perhaps his cute patterns decorated on his fur...there are plenty of reasons why this cat is loved so much. Although, in some productions he doesn't exsist!!! And he started off as a name-less cat. He probably stands out the most, when he is engaged with the mating dance with Victoria (Note: This only occur's in some productions). But never-the-less much like to point him out and watch him twirl and flip. He's just a cat everyone loves to watch. In actually most productions Tumblebrutus has the same colors, mostly white with brown stripes on his side and a patch over his right eye(sometimes left). In one that I know of possibly others, he is a mostly white cat with black stripes instead of brown. Although, his part isn't too noticeable, he is still a very important, and is loved by many. |

Pouncival/Karl Morgan: Pouncival is just a younger version of Tumblebrutus in my opinion. Face it, he's cute, and always seems to bouce and roll. (He's just like Tumblebrutus) He hasn't much of a role and was to be considered one of the four name-less kitties. He is adoreable though, you've got to give him credit for that. He is usually known for his great acrobatics along with Tumblebrutus. Some say them are brothers, and I don't blame them for sayin' that. All you have to do is look at the two. He is mostly the same throughout the world, mostly white with black and brown stripes, a long patch over his left eye(sometimes his right), and a little bit of yellow on his arm(s). Depending on what production you are watching Pouncival may seem the youngest(or in others MungoJerrie is more hyper and kittenish than Pounce, making Mungo seem the youngest) In any case Pouncival is very important to many audience members, it just wouldn't be the same without him. Even though there are a few productions where Pouncival does not exsist, and others where he only exsists as Carbuckety. |

Admetus/ Frank Thompson: Now, Admetus is definately a background cat, and very unnoticed. He is dubbed as one of the swing's usually and can also play the Rumpus cat, in some production's he'll dress up and be Macavity(Instead of Plato) And in other production's his name is Plato(and the cat who looks like Plato doesn't exsist. And in some cases, Admetus doesn't exsist. But in the productions he is in, people love him. He was also one of the name-less cats, before coming to the United States. He recieved the name Admetus and became one of the swings mainly there to be the rumpus cat. Yet, the Rumpus cat is sort of like Macavity, just not as demanding. In my opinion he does have to have very strong leg muscles. Instead of doing alot of lifting(aka Macavity) Rumpus cat does alot of stunts and jumping, requiring excellent legs.(muscules!!!) Sometimes Alonzo plays Rumpus cat, and they have no need for Admetus only to be a swing and balance out the singing. But I beleive that Admetus is a very cute cat, and should be in every production, to me, and to other's, he is just that important. |
