Johnny G. Economedes High School first opened its doors on August of 2000. The latest in computer technology, broadband internet access, intranet service (yes it is spelled that way), and many other features makes J. Economedes High School one of South Texas' "cutting edge schools". Housing over 1500 students and vast academic and athletic programs, it offers its students a broad selection of after school activities. All of this provides a comfortable learning environment for students to expand and grow their minds.
