Update: I made a new layout of the pictures. It was too messy so I decided to compact the large pictures and made the smaller pictures more smaller. I also added the SRW 4 characters as icons. Nov 26/02

| Super Robot Wars is basically a strategy game/RPG hybrid game based on robots that have been seen in Japanese anime. In most SRWs games the units are in SD form or Super Deformed. They are the cuter versions of these robots This series of games is widely popular in Japan and unfortunately never did show up in North America. This series started in the gameboy before it was ported to other systems and became one of the most popular games in Japan. Being one of Banpresto's best games and best sellers it quicky was a true top seller for Super Robot Wars Alpha and stayed there for 5 weeks. Although it is only around in Japan many immigrants who have played the game in Japan, China or elsewhere in Asia who live in the North America can still play this game. The requirements are that you need a mod chip to be able to play the Japanese games and buy it imported. Others go for roms which is another way to play this amazing series. If you have a favourite robot anime from Japan the chances are that you will be able to see them in this series along with other robots. The ones that were first inducted in SRW are: Gundam(original, Z,ZZ,CCA,F-91), Mazinger-Z(Great Mazinger also) and Getter robo(including G) series. These series are seen in almost every super robot wars game with the exception of Super Robot Wars Gaiden which was only exclusive for Masou Kishin characters. They were seen in the 2nd SRW and were seen in many SRW games since. They were made by Banpresto itself including other robots that were only seen in this game. Masou Kishin series was so popular that it has its own movie made in 1999 titled Psybuster. Update: I made a new layout of the pictures.
